On Saturday, October 5 at 8 pm and Sunday, October 6 at 4 pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) welcomes pianist and audience favorite Natasha Paremski back to Princeton for a third time to perform Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. Also on the program are Mikhail Glinka's Overture to Ruslan and Lyudmila and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5. in E Minor, Op. 64. Manning the podium is guest conductor Bernhard Gueller. Both concerts are at historic Richardson Auditorium, in Alexander Hall on the campus of Princeton University.

Princeton-born twins and virtuoso pianists Christina and Michelle Naughton perform the composer's Concerto for Two Pianos in E-flat Major on a program with the Overture to The Marriage of Figaro and Mozart's Symphony No. 41 a?oeJupiter.a?? Maestro Milanov conducts the concert, given in tribute to the memory of Edward T. Cone, professor, pianist, composer, and patron of the arts. Both performances are at historic Richardson Auditorium, Alexander Hall on the campus of Princeton University.

The Colorado Music Festival today announced the appointment of conductor Peter Oundjian as its next Music Director. He is the fourth person to hold this title in the 42-year history of the festival, which is held for six weeks each year at the Colorado Chautauqua, a National Historic Landmark at the foot of the rugged Flatirons. Mr. Oundjian led the 2018 festival as Artistic Advisor, and his appointment as Music Director was announced along with the festival's 2019 season, which runs from June 27 to August 3 and explores the legacy of Beethoven.

Chicago's Grant Park Music Festival Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Carlos Kalmar today announced a rich array of programming for the Festival's 2018 season, including a large-scale world premiere commission for orchestra and chorus by the Latvian composer, ?riks E envalds. Kalmar will lead the Grant Park Orchestra, along with Chorus Director Christopher Bell and the Grant Park Chorus, in a ten-week season, taking place from June 13 August 18 at Millennium Park's Jay Pritzker Pavilion and other venues throughout the city.
