Last night, the producers of the Broadway hits Beetlejuice, David Byrne's American Utopia and Moulin Rouge! The Musical hosted a special celebration in honor of director Alex Timbers. The evening brought together many producers, collaborators and artists that Alex has worked with throughout his career.

Justin Sayre returns to Joe's Pub with another edition of their long-running Queer Variety Show, The Meeting. Sayre is celebrating 10 years since the formation of The Meeting in 2009, the show went on to become the longest running LGBTQ variety show in New York. Sayre will offer stories and songs with a host of downtown royalty, from Angela DiCarlo, Nadia Quinn, Amber Martin, and Phillip Taratula as Pam Goldberg on Friday night, December 6th. And Nathan Lee Graham, Natalie Joy Johnson, Dane Terry, Zachary Clause and Shane O'Neill as Jane Johnson. Tracy Stark will be Musical Director.

On December 14th, Isabella Rossellini will headline in a one-night only show in support of the Gateway. On this festive evening, she will perform selections from her ever-popular Sundance Channel series MAMMAS about instinct in animals.  Since 2008  Isabella has conceived, written, and directed several short comical films about animal behaviors.

On Monday, September 18, The Three Angry Ladies (Shayna O'Neill, Emily Louise Perkins, and Emma Clarkson), presented Stay Mad, Make Art: A Benefit Concert for Immigrant Families Together at The Center at West Park (165 West 86th Street at Amsterdam Avenue., New York, NY 10024). Almost $8000 was raised for Immigrant Families Together, a network of Americans committed to rapid response unification of families separated by the 'zero tolerance' policy.

The Three Angry Ladies (Shayna O'Neill, Emily Louise Perkins, and Emma Clarkson), will present Stay Mad, Make Art: A Benefit Concert for Immigrant Families Together at The Center at West Park (165 West 86th Street at Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY 10024) on Monday, September 16 at 8pm (doors and bar open at 7:30pm). Tickets ($25 General; $50 VIP; $1000 Angel, which includes front row seating and unlimited drinks) are available for advance purchase at staymadmakeart.brownpapertickets.com. Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences.

Next month, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

Beetlejuice officially opened on Broadway last night, April 25, at the Winter Garden Theatre. BroadwayWorld was there for the big night, and you can check out photos from the opening night red carpet below!

Nathan Lee Graham (Zoolander, "LA to Vegas") Nadia Quinn (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Josh Sharp (Comedy Central's "The Opposition"), and Phillip Taratula ("The Outs") have joined the cast of Justin Sayre's camp-horror-soap-opera Ravenswood Manor at JOE'S PUB on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 at 9:30 PM. After premiering at the venue last fall, Ravenswood Manor will be continued with episodes 7 thru 9 on Saturday, and episodes 10 through 12 on Sunday.

Nadia Quinn, star of Broadway's Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Robber Bridegroom and a great many of television's Commercials, debuts an elegant, yet casual, cabaret at Feinstein's/54 Below. Fans of Nadia's twee comedy band, Summer & Eve, will love this new solo show - it's like seeing a post-Fleetwood Mac Stevie Nicks, but funny.
