This fall, The Town Hall, New York City's landmark concert venue (123 West 43rd Street), launches the new season with their celebration of Broadway's best. The Town Hall presents its acclaimed Broadway Cabaret Festival which runs October 16 - 18, 2009. The three-concert series that takes place over one weekend is written and hosted for The Town Hall by Scott Siegel. The festival showcases the talents of award-winning Broadway veterans and new stars in a celebration of the Great White Way.

The BROADWAY ORIGINALS concert, which is set to be part of the three-day Broadway Cabaret Festival next month at Town Hall, will feature a tribute to William Finn's Tony-winning Falsettos. BROADWAY ORIGINALS will mark the finale of the Cabaret Festival weekend.

Bernard 'Pretty' Purdie, the world's most recorded drummer, will headline the Miami Jazz Workshop to be held at the Miracle Theatre on Sunday, October 25th.

San Franciscos award-winning AfroSolo Theatre Company presents the 16th annual AfroSolo Arts Festival, celebrating African American artists giving voice to the Black experience. Paying homage to and exploring the rich legacy of African Americans and people of African descent, Festival events (August 1-October 15) featuring live music, visual art, and new works for the stage will take place in San Francisco at Yerba Buena Gardens, the Main San Francisco Public Library, the African American Art and Culture Complex, and the Ella Hill Hutch Community Center. Following a sold-out Canadian tour, Michel Legrand returns to New York for a special one-night engagement at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center on Saturday, November 21st at 8PM.
