A social satire set at an exclusive Hawaiian resort, The White Lotus follows the vacations of various hotel guests over the span of a week as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise. But with each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect travelers, the hotel’s cheerful employees, and the idyllic locale itself.

A Closing Night World Premiere Screening and Conversation featuring HBO’s forthcoming limited series from Mike White (“Enlightened”), “The White Lotus” will take place on Saturday, June 19 at 7pm CT. 

Recurring guest stars include: Molly Shannon (HBO’s “Divorce”), Jon Gries (“Dream Corp LLC”), Jolene Purdy (“WandaVision”), Kekoa Kekumano (“Aquaman”), and Lukas Gage (HBO’s “Euphoria”).

Face Productions will present School of Rock the musical at Shouson Theatre, Hong Kong Arts Centre, 23 – 25 April 2021. 

Today marks five years since School of Rock opened on Broadway! To celebrate the occasion, the show's composer, Andrew Lloyd Webber, virtually reunited with original cast members for a performance of 'Stick It To The Man'!

The six-episode series will be available on HBO and to stream on HBO Max.

Walt Disney Records is set to release the digital original soundtrack to Disney's new movie 'The One and Only Ivan,' streaming exclusively on Disney+. Directed by Thea Sharrock ('Me Before You'), the movie and soundtrack feature the original end-credit song, 'Free' written by Diane Warren and performed by Charlie Puth.

The Walt Disney Studios announced today that the heartwarming adventure a?oeThe One and Only Ivan,a?? an adaptation of the bestselling, award-winning book about one very special gorilla directed by Thea Sharrock, will premiere exclusively on Disney+ August 21, 2020.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic has announced its 99th summer season at the Hollywood Bowl, showcasing a roster of world-class artists ranging from classical and pops to jazz, rock, and world music. The season features the return of legendary Bowl favorites, celebrated artists and conductors making their Bowl debuts, and the premieres of new LA Phil-commissioned works.

SCHOOL OF ROCK THE MUSICAL storms the Sydney stage with a spectacularly talented group of school aged stars.

Amazon Studios started principal photography on visionary director Mike Cahill's (I Origins, Another Earth) Bliss this week in Los Angeles and Croatia. Academy Award nominees Salma Hayek and Owen Wilson are set to star in this sci-fi drama also written by Cahill. Endgame Entertainment's James D. Stern is producing, with the company's Lucas Smith serving as executive producer. Marsha Swinton (Hala) will also executive produce.

Say what you want about Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber but at least he's consistent. Consistently borrowing from others as is evident in the most recent offering from the Paramount Theatre, 'his' musical version of the 2003 movie 'The School of Rock'. And while it has adorable kids, absolutely shredding it with their vocals and musical chops on stage, it also has utterly forgettable and repetitious songs (at least the ones actually written by Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater) and a lead who takes mugging to a whole new, annoying level.

Rise Above Performing Arts has announced their upcoming season which will include works by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Stephen Sondheim, and Lin-Manuel Miranda among others. Rise Above's mission is to bring exceptional talent with a focus on the education and development of the performing arts in the youth of the South Florida community. SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL is bursting with kids, all of them bursting with talent. Based on the 2003 movie starring Jack Black, the stage version is the brainchild of Andrew Lloyd Webber, a guy who knows a thing or two about creating successful musicals. Nominated for four 2016 Tony Awards, the show ran for more than three years on Broadway, a little over a year in London, and the national tour has been on the road since September, 2017. It's a feel good musical with a happy ending, something to lighten up the winter doldrums.
