A sneak peek into the first week of rehearsals of this new professional Shakespeare company. Set up by Artistic Director Peter Basham and Executive Producer Laurence Taylor, The Shakespeare Project will bring its thrilling production of Macbeth to the original Victorian theatre of Salomons Estate in Tunbridge Wells from 5th- 24th November. 

An exciting, challenging play that explores sex, violence, language, fear, intimacy, division, power and queerness, 'Sex/Crime' is a controversial and shocking statement on the state of today, both a hard-hitting 'in ya face' drama and an outrageous comedy.

Following the announcement that London Musical Theatre Orchestra are heading out on a UK tour with A Night At The Musicals, opening at Royal & Derngate, Northampton on 22nd October, LMTO are thrilled to reveal that the cast will include Emma Hatton (Wicked / We Will Rock You/ Evita), Barry Keenan (LMTO's A Christmas Carol / Walk Like A Man), Emma Kingston (In The Heights / Les Misérables / Grease) and Luke McCall (The Phantom of the Opera / Les Misérables).

This spectacular evening features hits from Broadway and film, bigger and better than you've ever heard them before.

Billy Elliot o Musical is a musical based on the 2000 film Billy Elliot. The music is by Elton John, and the book and lyrics are by Lee Hall, who wrote the film's screenplay. The plot revolves around Billy, a motherless British boy who trades boxing gloves for ballet shoes. The story of his personal struggle and fulfillment are balanced against a counter-story of family and community strife caused by the 1984-85 UK miners' strike in County Durham, in North Eastern England. Hall's screenplay was inspired in part by A. J. Cronin's 1935 novel about a miners' strike, The Stars Look Down, to which the musical's opening song pays homage.

The owl and the pussycat are setting sail for the Belgrade Theatre in a brand new musical adaptation for families this February half-term. 'TOAST' is making its US Premiere at 59E59 Theaters through May 22nd as part of the Brits Off-Broadway festival. Written by Richard Bean and directed by Eleanor Rhode, the play features a cast with some of Britain's most celebrated actors in a realistic, humorous depiction of factory life.

59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of TOAST, written by Richard Bean and directed by Eleanor Rhode. Produced by Snapdragon Productions, in association with Jagged Fence Theatre for the 2016 Brits Off Broadway festival, TOAST begins performances on Wednesday, April 20 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 22.  Press opening is Wednesday, April 27 at 7 PM.
