Milton Keynes Theatre has enjoyed a fabulous season so far this year with smash- hit musicals, stunning dance, thrilling drama and sublime opera and the lineup for the autumn season is just as spectacular.

Following its successful sell-out run earlier this year, further dates have been announced around the UK for the Tubular Bells 50th The Anniversary Celebration before it heads to Europe.

To celebrate next year's 50th anniversary of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells, the multi-million-selling and multi-award-winning album will be performed live in concert for a celebratory UK tour. 

Recorded and mixed mainly on the Caribbean island of Antigua during the last 10 years, the sounds of OUTLANDERS are mystic. They are soft and powerful; catchy and dreamy; modern but vintage — at the same time. Their music is about opposites that magically attract each other and the three aesthetic pillar elements unite to create a unique sound.

Internationally acclaimed pianist and singer Dominic Ferris returns to Crazy Coqs in London with his solo show: ME AND MY PIANO on Wednesday 10 November 2021 at 7pm. Dominic will be welcoming two brand new guest artistes: Joanna Forest and Robert Levey. 

Unstoppable! Circa presents Tubular Bells at London's Royal Festival Hall, another groundbreaking new work created during COVID

The spectacle marks the 50th anniversary of Tubular Bells, the debut studio album by English multi-instrumentalist, composer and songwriter Mike Oldfield. Oldfield, who was just 17 years old when he started composing the music, recorded and played almost all of the instruments on the album.

The world-acclaimed contemporary circus arts company Circa this week premiered the sixth of the remarkable ten new works created during COVID, with a production of Astor Piazzolla's tango opera Maria de Buenos Aires with Opera Lyon opening at the prestigious Les Nuits de Fourvière, the first festival to re-open in France.

Tom Ashbrook releases his new single 'Sines' on 25 October via The Other Songs, which premiered via Clash Magazine. This is the title track lifted from his upcoming Sines EP, to be released on 22 November, mastered by Mike Cave (Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, The Charlatans) and mixed by Mike Halls (Clean Cut Kid). Previous single 'Toon Soon' recently premiered on Vents Magazine, and he has already seen support from Son of Marketing, Mr Foxx Frequency and Music Week. Ashbrook has toured extensively throughout his life and has shared the stage with Simply Red's Mick Hucknell at the Royal Albert Hall, played alongside Jools Holland as a session musician, and composed for the prestigious Matthew Bourne Dance Company. In addition, he worked alongside Sir Paul McCartney and 6ix Toys composing the anthem for Liverpool's 2008 award as European Capital of Culture city and toured with well known Pink Floyd Tribute band, Brit Floyd.

The new dates begin on November 8 with a stop at Levitation Festival in Austin, TX before taking the group up the East Coast, concluding on November 14 at the new Sultan Room in Brooklyn, NY. Australian desert psych quartet Stonefield are excited to give their new album BENT (out now digitally via Flightless / ATO) a physical release on August 9 on red vinyl. The band is comprised of four sisters -- Amy, Hannah, Sarah and Holly Findlay -- who started practicing together in their parents' farm shed as teenagers and have only continued to rise in popularity since.

Drum legend Simon Phillips will be releasing a 6-CD box set on April 12th on Phantom Recordings. This truly deluxe set celebrates the 30th Anniversary of Protocol, the powerhouse jazz-rock vehicle for the music of legendary drummer Simon Phillips (Jeff Beck, Toto, The Who, Mike Oldfield, Hiromi). Included are all of the previous Protocol releases (I, II, III & IV), re-mastered for an even better sonic experience. Plus two full CDs of previously unreleased demos, with the embryonic tunes that would later become finished material for the Protocol II, III & IValbums. Protocol 4, included, was nominated for a Grammy in 2018 for Best Contemporary Instrumental Recording.

Mike Oldfield's “The Killing Fields” Soundtrack & DVD Limited Edition Deluxe Box Set is now available for pre-order. “The Killing Fields” is a 1984 British biographical drama film about the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia, which is based on the experiences of two journalists: Cambodian Dith Pran and American Sydney Schanberg. It was directed by Roland Joffé and produced by David Puttnam for his company Goldcrest Films. Sam Waterston stars as Schanberg, Haing S. Ngor as Pran, Julian Sands as Jon Swain, and John Malkovich as Al Rockoff. The adaptation for the screen was written by Bruce Robinson; the musical score was written by Mike Oldfield and orchestrated by David Bedford.

British bass guitarist and composer John Greaves, best known as a member of Henry Cow and his collaborative albums with Peter Blegvad is releasing a new album titled “Life Size” on Manticore Records on November 30, 2018. John was also a member of National Health and Soft Heap, and has recorded several solo albums, including “Accident” (1982), “Parrot Fashions” (1984), “The Caretaker” (2001) and “Greaves Verlaine” (2008).
