After careful consideration, Broadway Theatre Project (BTP) has decided to move its 2020 summer intensive online in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Piano man Michael McAssey hosts Piano Bar Live! this Tuesday, May 5th at 7:15 pm, following New York City's 7 O'Clock Cheer. This week's guests will be Michael Orland, Beth Malone, Amy Ryder, David Anthony Hernandez and Brian Tom O'Connor.

FEINSTEIN'S, Los Angeles's premier Supper Club, will present Robert Bannon bringing his new concert event, 'Unfinished Business; The Great American Songbook' for his Feinstein's Los Angeles Debut this April for a special one night only performance. He will be accompanied by Musical Director Michael Orland on piano.

The sunshine state always shines a little brighter when Kristin Chenoweth is in the house. The house being Sarasota's 'purple palace', the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, where Executive Director Mary Benzel and crew are celebrating the theater's 50th year on the Bay. In celebration, they are pulling out all the stops, hosting a banner year of phenomenal talent and entertainment.

Broadway Tonight, the performing arts series at the University of Central Oklahoma, recently welcomed Tony Award winner Faith Prince to its historic Mitchell Hall stage. Ms. Prince has earned her status as a living legend and one of Broadway's preeminent Divas. In this lovely, intimate concert, audiences were treated not only to Ms. Prince's signature zaniness and piercing belt, but also her warm soprano and magnetic stillness.

Each year, in the decade since the Lythgoe Family first introduced Panto to American audiences, stars of TV, film and Broadway come together at the holidays-many returning year after year-to perform alongside local talent in cities across the U.S. This year's offerings include the beloved tales of Snow White, Aladdin and Peter Pan, featuring Richard Karn, Garrett Clayton, Neil Patrick Harris and many others. Past productions have featured the star power of Ariana Grande, Jordan Fisher, Morgan Fairchild, Lucy Lawless, John O'Hurley, Tamyra Gray and Alex Newell, among others.

Donna McKechnie, the Tony Award Winning Actress for A Chorus Line was in a different line last night. The super star was in The Lineup hosted by Susie Mosher at the Birdland Theater. Wether you're upstairs, downstairs, or on the line waiting to get into the club, there are celebs all over the place at Birdland and last night was no different. Tony Award winner Chita Rivera was in the house cheering a performance by her daughter Lisa Mordente who sang in Susie's wild variety show. It also wasn't to shabby that TV ( Madam Secretary) Film (Jersey Boys) and Broadway star Erich Bergen was in last night's Lineup too.

Emmy Award and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth returns to her hometown of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, June 9-15 to lead the fifth annual Kristin Chenoweth's Broadway Boot Camp to help mold dozens of students who hope to make a career in the theatre arts industry.

Today, the Nederlander Organization and Hollywood Pantages Theatre announced that Jonathan Bennett will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for THE 8TH ANNUAL JERRY HERMAN AWARDS, a celebration of the achievement and excellence in high school musical theatre in Los Angeles. This celebrated annual awards show will take place at The Ricardo Montalban Theatre on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 7pm.

Returning to the concert stage in Los Angeles for the first time in over three years, critically acclaimed actor and singer Erich Bergen will be performing at Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood for two shows only on Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25, at 8:30pm, it was announced today by Chris Isaacson Presents. Actress/singer/vocal coach Susan Edwards Martin, Lady Blues in Torch Song Trilogy on Broadway and star of many other musical shows, recently premiered her solo cabaret show at Upstairs at Vitello's. I reviewed the show and she was sensational.* She is taking the show to Feinstein's 54/Below in New York on March 23. Edwards Martin also has created an original show about the optimistic way she lives her life called, 'Unlimited! You'll Have the Time of Her Life!", that had a spectacular one night presentation and is currently waiting in the wings for a full production. Busy, busy, busy, Edwards also recently performed with Musical Theatre Guild as the lead in Minnie's Boys to rave reviews. Ms. Edwards Martin sat down and discussed her career thus far, and about the story behind Unlimited! You'll Have the Time of Her Life! and her latest cabaret show. Before we start to look back I always ask a few less relevant questions about musical theatre.
