Previews begin tonight for One-Eighth Theater's world premiere of NUMBNESS: CHAPTER 2, a tragicomedy about the unfelt, directed and choreographed by Daniel Irizarry, running April 26 - May 18 (opens April 29) at New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher St.) in New York City.

The Archive Residency is a vital incubator for New York City's most electrifying independent theater companies. This two-year residency offers companies an artistic home for the development and presentation of a new work. Each residency culminates with a world premiere production. Now in its sixth year, the Archive Residency is a collaboration between New Ohio Theatre and IRT Theater (likeminded neighbors in the historic Archive Building in the West Village).

Puerto Rico's acclaimed Casa Cruz de la Luna Theatre Company and INTAR Theatre will present The Marquis de Sade is Afraid of the Sea, as part of INTAR Theatre's NewWorks Lab.  Performances will be Friday, February 23rd at 8PM, Saturday, February 24th at 8PM, and Sunday, February 25th at 4PM at INTAR Theatre, 500 West 52nd Street at 10th Avenue.  Tickets are available for $5  and may be purchased at intartheatre.org or by calling 212-352-3101.  Please note: production contains explicit adult content and nudity.

Vocalist BJ Ward and pianist Simon Wallace return to London's The Crazy Coqs on March 21st 2016 at 8pm to perform the music of the late Marshall Barer.

These are timeless: Manners, elegance, wit, sincerity, lively intelligence; the ability to make it feel as if a vocalist inhabits a lyric, and as if she/he sees and is singing to you. Andrea Marcovicci, who brightened the heyday of stylish cabaret, remains undiminished in these qualities. Those who shone when the city was filled with sophisticated boites/clubs, and all fine hotels had cabaret rooms, tend to make the rest of the world look shabbier today.

While THE YEARLING was short-lived on Broadway, Barbra Streisand turned in classic performances of three of the score's songs.

The new absurdist comedy, Teach Teacher, Teachest, One-Eighth Theater and INTAR Theatre pits Ionesco against Lazy Town and other supercharged pre-school aimed shows for highly entertaining results.

INTAR presents the first production of its 2014 - '15 season: Teach, Teacher, Teachest by David Koteles, directed by Daniel Irizarry, beginning tonight, September 12th and continuing through October 5th only. Opening Night is set for Thursdsay, September 18th.
