For those missing live theater and looking for some holiday cheer, you are in luck. Broadway star Betsy Wolfe returned to Holmdel Theatre Company with a live stream concert called “BETSY WOLFE: A PANTS OPTIONAL HOLIDAY (And Other Things I Know In 2020)” after performing a holiday show there last year.

Joe Landry, who adapted the piece, has worked directly with Lauren and Nick to create this special Laguna Playhouse version.

So what does one do when one is a nightclub artist stuck in lockdown with no artistic outlet? Create an online show, of course! These people are the BROADWAY WORLD AWARD nominees for BEST PRODUCER OF A VIRTUAL PROGRAM - a new category for a new day.

The BROADWAY WORLD AWARDS introduces some new categories this year.

Holmdel Theatre Company will present the virtual concert ALICE RIPLEY: Songs Under An Evening Sky on Monday, November 16th at 7 PM ET. Presented by popular demand, this is a live stream playback of Tony Winner Alice Ripley’s sold-out Broadway at the Barn concert, originally presented October 24th. 

On a brisk fall night with the backdrop of a white barn, guests brought their chairs to a socially-distanced lawn, awaiting Tony Award winner Alice Ripley. She returned to Holmdel Theatre Company for the third time on October 24 to perform “Songs Under An Evening Sky,” an outdoor concert part of the “Broadway at the Barn” series, normally performed inside the Duncan Smith Theater, which Ripley kicked off in June 2019.

In anticipation of the debut of their digital album, The Rocky Horror Skivvies Show, The Skivvies (Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley), Rob Morrison, and Michael Kushner have released a new music video, Super Heroes. The album is set to be released in the last week of October.

My Broadway Memory, in association with the Broadway Podcast Network, has announced a month-long partnership with Broadway for Biden. The live streamed episodes will be available every Thursday at 7pm EST exclusively from the Broadway Podcast Network.

Stars in the House presented a gala and telethon with French Woods Festival of the Arts partnering with the Hancock-French Woods Arts Alliance this past Sunday, August 16th. The virtual Gala reached over 20,000 views throughout the Stars In The House network and raised $26,000 with 100% of the proceeds supporting the College Arts Scholarship Fund.
