Don't Tell Mama brings New Generation Theater Company's 'Top Hat, White Tie and Tails: A Celebration of The American Songbook' to New York City for a one night only engagement. This production features selections from the canon of the most important and influential jazz standards from the early 20th century. This night will feature songs made famous by composers such as Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Richard Rogers and more. For Sentimental Reasons, this is one show that will have you singing along all night. The performance will play Today, March 9th 2019 at 7:00pm at Don't Tell Mama NYC.

Osmo Vanska announced plans today at the Minnesota Orchestra's annual meeting to conclude his tenure as Music Director of the Minnesota Orchestra in August 2022. The 2021-22 season, his final as music director, will mark his 19th year at the helm of the Minnesota Orchestra, capping what is widely considered one of the great musical partnerships in Minnesota Orchestra history. Beyond 2022, Mr. Vanska and the Minnesota Orchestra will maintain their musical relationship, with Mr. Vanska returning for ongoing concert engagements.

Los Angeles-based Beauty in Chaos have announced their impending vinyl release of their debut album 'Finding Beauty in Chaos'. Slated for November 30, 33.3 Music Collective will be offering almost 80 minutes of music, curated by guitarist Michael Ciravolo on deluxe CD and limited-edition heavy weight, colored vinyl. Ahead of that, they present their new single 'Look Up' feat.Tish Ciravolo. The accompanying video was produced by Industrialism Films and directed by Vicente Cordero.

Leading off the cast is Salome B. Smith in the role of 'Dorothy'. Smith is a recent graduate of Alabama State University where she performed in many theatrical productions including The Color Purple, Rent and Carousel. Marva Hicks is playing the role of 'The Wiz'. Hicks has appeared on Broadway in Motown The Musical, Caroline or Change, and The Lion King. Yvette Clark will play the roles of 'Evilene', 'Glinda', and 'Aunt Em'. Clark has appeared in numerous regional productions including Thoroughly Modern Millie, Showboat, Chicago, and Hairspray. Simone Gundy will play the role of 'Addaperle'. Gundy returns to TUTS after starring in the 2017 production of Memphis. Paris Nix is playing 'Tin Man'. Nix was last seen on Broadway in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. Allyson Kaye Daniel is 'Lion'. Daniel most recently appeared at TUTS as 'Miss Jones' in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
