In 1993 the first Horrible Histories books were published and now HORRIBLE HISTORIES Live On Stage is coming to Bristol. Appearing at The Bristol Hippodrome from July 24-27, there's a chance to catch Terrible Tudors and Awful Egyptians in hilarious shows featuring eye-popping 3D special effects!

Deborah Grace Winer wraps up the second season of her Classic American Songbook Series at Feinstein's/54 Below on Sunday, June 16th  at 7:00pm and 9:30pm with FEELING WICKED: The Magical Side of the American Songbook featuring JENN GAMBATESE (School of Rock,) SYDNEY JAMES HARCOURT (Hamilton,) MATTHEW SCOTT (An American in Paris) and EMILY SKINNER (The Cher Show.)  Written and hosted by Deborah Grace Winer, and in time for Father's Day, this celebration of Broadway's love affair with the magical and miraculous is directed by Mark Waldrop, with an all-star trio led by Mark Hummel (musical director and piano), with Dick Sarpola on bass and Ray Marchica, percussion.

This Month, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

The '90s will be back with a vengeance this summer at the new and improved Main Stage Theatre at Hollywood's historic The Three Clubs (1123 Vine Street) when I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Unauthorized Musical slices and dices its way back to LA following last year's sold-out freshmen premiere!

Spring for Russian performers and musical theatre lovers is a special season - Broadway actors, directors and composers have been coming to Moscow to make a show every year since 2016. Three years later, we have Tyler Hanes, Nicholas Rodriguez and Matthew Scott as American stars shining together with Russian ones.

Broadway Dreams once again demonstrated the unifying power of the arts when the internationally renowned performing arts education program sent a team of Broadway professionals to Moscow, Russia for the fourth consecutive year. Through a landmark partnership created between the non-profit organization, Broadway Moscow Theatre Company, the U.S. Embassy, and the U.S. Department of State, Broadway Dreams offered their unique brand of Broadway master classes to professional and aspiring Russian musical theater performers of all ages during a ten-day intensive program. The collaboration culminated in two public performances at the MDM Theatre on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.

The Olivier Award-nominated, 50th anniversary production of Arthur Miller's riveting drama The Price must end its strictly limited West End run at Wyndham's Theatre on 27 April.

When attending a jukebox musical, it's expected that the best part of the show will likely be the cherished songs and vocals. MAMMA MIA showcases music and lyrics by ABBA's Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, and a book by Catherine Johnson that is predictably a bit surface-level and 'cheesy', for lack of a better word. Of course, this effect is almost expected when adapting a collection of an artist's songs for the stage, and cheesy can be wonderful. However, there is a way to stage a cheesy musical without seeming inauthentic. There were moments in Theatre Under the Stars' MAMMA MIA that worked, and some that didn't.

Birmingham Stage Company today announces the return of Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain - Part Four! to the Apollo Theatre marking Horrible Histories' eighth year in the West End. Barmy Four was the most successful show in the series so far and enjoyed a sell-out summer season. It opens this year on 6 August, with previews from 1 August, and runs until 31 August.

In 1993 the first Horrible Histories books were published, and now Horrible Histories Live on Stage is coming to Storyhouse in Chester with a double bill this autumn.
