Twenty years after it premiered The Beauty Queen of Leenane, the debut work of unknown playwright Martin McDonagh, Druid Theatre Company is restaging the play that catapulted them and its author to international acclaim.

Stray Cat Theatre unleashes its 2016-2017 Season!

Atlantic Theater Company has announced that the world premiere production of George Brant's play with music, Marie and Rosetta, starring Kecia Lewis (Mother Courage, Once on This Island) and Rebecca Naomi Jones (American Idiot, Hedwig and the Angry Inch) and directed by Atlantic Artistic Director Neil Pepe, has been extended an additional two weeks due to popular demand following opening last night to positive reviews.

What is there left to do when you have one bullet, one granola bar, and one zombie blocking the only exit? That's the dilemma facing these two survivors of the zombie apocalypse. Having narrowly escaped certain death it appears their luck has finally run out. With the zombie slowly nearing, they contemplate survival, fear, humanness, and their relationship with each other. Unique in its use of narrow staging and single setting to convey the feeling of claustrophobia and impending doom, DEAD END follows in the suspenseful and darkly comedic tradition of playwrights such as Martin McDonagh and David Ives.
