BroadwayWorld UK recently caught up with actor Owain Arthur, who has just taken over  the role of Nathan Detroit in Guys & Dolls at the Bridge Theatre. We discussed what it has been like for him to return to the stage after a decade, being a part of a show that throws you into the world of NYC, and what he hopes audiences take away from the show.

Owain Arthur will play the role of Nathan Detroit in Nicholas Hytner’s critically acclaimed immersive production of Guys & Dolls. Arthur will have his first performance on 17 July 2023 replacing Daniel Mays, who will return to the role on 16 October.

Following the runaway success of the debut A Christmas Gaiety performance last year, drag sensation Peaches Christ and conductor / producer Edwin Outwater will return to the Royal Albert Hall to host this year’s biggest camp Christmas party as part of the Hall’s festive celebrations for 2023 in association with Clapham Grand.

Gaiety Musical Theatre Festival, the UK's first ever outdoor festival dedicated to all things stagey, has announced the stellar Variety Stage line up.  The stage will see a wide range of musical performances, including West End stars, all-new musicals and choirs.  Gaiety Festival will feature three stages, the Main Stage with West End superstar headliners, the Community Bandstand, which is supported by NODA and will showcase local midlands talent, and the Variety Stage.
