BIRDLAND THEATER will present the return of living legend Marilyn Maye for a special seven-show holiday engagement from Thursday, December 29 through Sunday, January 1, including the “New Year’s Eve Extravaganza!” on Saturday, December 31.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present the return of Karen Mason with her concert “Christmas! Christmas! Christmas!” on Monday, December 19 at 7:00 PM. Mason’s legendary holiday show features unique interpretations of old and new seasonal classics.

ARTHUR CIRCLE MUSIC will present Stirrings Still, an intimate set of duets for voice and guitar, scheduled for release January 24, 2023 on CD, digital download, and streaming, with a vinyl edition to follow in June 2023.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present the 13th Annual “A Swinging Birdland Christmas” – starring vocalists Klea Blackhurst, Jim Caruso, and Billy Stritch – for six performances from Tuesday, December 20 to Sunday, December 25 at 5:30 PM.

After twenty years as the editor of Cabaret Scenes Magazine, Frank Dain is being honored with a one-night-only concert featuring some of the greatest entertainers in the industry.

Broadway @ Town Hall concert series will present Christine Ebersole in her Provincetown Town Hall debut for FIRST LIGHT FESTIVAL on New Year’s Eve, Saturday, December 31 at 7:00 PM - for One Show Only - with renowned entertainer Billy Stritch at the piano.

Last night, The New York Pops-led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke was joined by guest artists Nikki Renée Daniels, Jordan Donica, Matt Doyle, and Melissa Errico, as well as Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall for Broadway Blockbusters. Amy Irving stopped by THE LINEUP, making the last episode of the year even more magical than it already was.

There was a heartfelt and emotional tribute last night to legendary producer/actor/singer Jan McArt at Lynn University.  On the same stage at the Wold Performing Arts Center that Jan McArt had greeted audiences when welcoming them to the world of theater and music, her daughter Deborah Lahr Lawlor stood before a full house and did the same.

The gala honored musical theater legend Leslie Uggams  with the 2022 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theater, which will be presented by Dionne Warwick. Ted Chapin was also honored with The York Theatre Company Founders' Award, presented by his daughters Anika and Zoë Chapin. St. Louis Cabaret Conference's Producer/Host Tim Schall helms a week of Master Classes and Workshops for Cabaret performers featuring a faculty of the Cabaret and Nightclub world's most respected professionals.

Carole J. Bufford returned to Birdland on Monday, October 31 with a brand-new show celebrating all things Halloween. Ms. Bufford and company (Ian Herman, Howie Gordon, Tom Hubbard) brought eerie music like 'Every Breath You Take,' 'Bad Moon Rising,” 'I Want To Be Evil,' 'Witchy Woman,' 'Cruella de Ville,' 'St. James Infirmary,' 'Send Me To The 'Lectric Chair,' and more to the stage of the historic music room.

Emmy Award-nominated singer, songwriter, and composer Ingrid Michaelson will ring in the holidays with The New York Pops—led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke—in two different seasonal-inspired programs in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall.
