Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater are open this November with a full slate of nightly performances! 

Following her recent sold-out performances, Susan Mack returns to Birdland to debut Yesterdays, a new show with a diverse, uplifting and timeless set of Standards. These songs of yesterday transcend the era in which they were created; their messages and the emotions they elicit are still powerful, relatable, and relevant today.

Next week, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below celebrates Broadway musicals and writers of the past and present, promoting an ongoing engagement with their work.

Usually on the stage in the solos spot, Seth Sikes and Nicolas King are trying their hands at a duo show and they are bringing all their brassy, belty boy best to the stage.

The legendary Marilyn Maye is back at it again, with a brand-new show, and even though all MM shows are great, this one is particularly so.

Performers Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch will return to the Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel, Sundays October 9, 23, 30, November 13, 27, December 4.

The New York Pops will be joined by guest artists Nikki Renée Daniels, Jordan Donica, Matt Doyle, and Melissa Errico, as well as Judith Clurman’s Essential Voices USA on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall for Broadway Blockbusters.

The New York Pops will open their 2022–2023 Carnegie Hall season on Friday, October 21 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage with the music of Star Wars—a comprehensive program that includes John Williams’ music from all nine films in the Skywalker saga as well as the two anthology films.

THERESE LEE  returns to New York for an encore performance of her new show, RIDING THE BUS TO THE RED CARPET.  In it, she recalls her days in Los Angeles as an entertainment reporter too broke to own a car, and shares what her interactions with some of Hollywood's biggest stars during that time did to change her life forever.

The York Theatre Company, in association with Riki Kane Larimer, presents an encore limited return engagement of the hit Off-Broadway musical Cheek to Cheek: Irving Berlin in Hollywood, a song and dance celebration featuring the music and lyrics of the legendary Irving Berlin which premiered last Fall. When Betsy Wolfe had to, unexpectedly, step out of the NEW YORK POPS UNDERGROUND gala benefit for the New York Pops PopsEd program, fellow Broadway alum Elizabeth Stanley stepped in and made a great night happen for everyone involved, from the organization planners to the patrons holding tickets.

On Monday, September 19, pianist/singer Billy Stritch and award-winning jazz vocalist Gabrielle Stravelli combined their considerable talents for an evening of great music celebrating the legendary Mel Tormé and Ella Fitzgerald.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present vocalist and pianist Steve Ross in a special new show “Autumn Serenades” on Monday, October 24 at 7:00 PM. Ross will sing a few mellow seasonal ballads, including “September in the Rain,” “Autumn Leaves,” “September Song,” and “When October Goes.”

Elizabeth Stanley will now headline The New York Pops Underground cabaret on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 54 Below. Stanley will be singing selections from Songs for a New World, Bridges of Madison County, Jagged Little Pill, Company, A Little Night Music, and more.

Coming this Saturday: Mark Frangione, the Owner/Chef of the popular restaurant The Pelican Café, is hosting a private, invitation-only cocktail party and book-signing celebrating the publication of The Contemporary Singer's Blueprint: From Amateur to Professional and Beyond written by popular cabaret star Jill Switzer.
