​​​​​​​History Fort Lauderdale will present “Take PRIDE! A Retrospective of LGBTQ Life in South Florida,” a multimedia exhibit chronicling the gay rights movement and the impact of the LGBTQ community on South Florida's vibrant arts and culture, business, media, and political landscape, from June 1 - 30 at Galleria Fort Lauderdale.

Created by an assembly of Nashville talents, the six-track tacks on cuts by artists Cole Swindell, Ella Langley, and Luke Bryan, mainstay hit makers Josh Osborne, Parker Welling, and Hunter Phelps, and upstart newcomers Emily Landis, Rocky Block, John Byron, and Lydia Vaughan among others. It also features a cheeky duet with Lainey Wilson.

The cast of Out of the Box Theatrics’ Millennials Are Killing Musicals by Nico Juber, directed by Ciara Renée, will head into the studio this week to record its original cast album to be released this fall on Yellow Sound Label.  

Patrick Droney returns with a dynamic, self-penned new single entitled “Go Getter,” available now via Warner Records. The concept of time threads the narrative of the song, underscored by the lyric, “Playing with time ‘cause you know that it knows better,” which sets the tone for the accompanying video directed by Gus Black.

Drama Book Shop will host a signing event for the published script of KIMBERLY AKIMBO on Tuesday, May 30 at 7:30pm. Tony Award nominees Jeanine Tesori and David Lindsay-Abaire will kick off the event with a Q&A moderated by a Drama Book staff member and will sign scripts for event attendees.

Goodspeed Musicals has announced the cast for the world premiere musical comedy Summer Stock, the second production of its 60th anniversary season. Filled with exuberant dance numbers and hits from the American songbook, it is adapted from the MGM/Warner Bros. film Summer Stock and will appear on the Goodspeed stage from July 7 – August 27 in East Haddam, Connecticut.

Stewart Reeve, star of the hit show Rebel, returns to the stage this July with his award-winning one-man show, Chameleon.

The concert features Bonnie Milligan performing 'Better,' Victoria Clark and Miguel Gil performing 'Anagram,' Alli Mauzy singing 'Father Time,' and the cast performing 'Great Adventure' The concert also features Steven Boyer, Olivia Elease Hardy, Fernell Hogan, Michael Iskander, and Nina White.
