Interview: Mitch Hara Talks Revamped MUTANT OLIVE 2.0 at the Hudson Guild Theatre

Back in 2015, I caught a solo performance play Mutant Olive, created and performed by Mitch Hara. I decided to speak with him about his revamped play, Mutant Olive 2.0, soon to begin performance at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood, to ask about the new show, it’s title, and what’s been going on during the 8 years since Mutant Olive in its original form premiered.

Adam Rapp's THE SOUND INSIDE is Coming To Everyman

Filled with intrigue, gorgeous writing, stunning imagery, and a healthy dose of mystery, THE SOUND INSIDE by Adam Rapp was nominated for six Tony Awards (including Best Play) and received seven Outer Critics Circle Awards. THE SOUND INSIDE will keep you leaning in, trying to guess how the story will end. Directed by Everyman Theatre's Founder and Artistic Director, Vincent M. Lancisi, THE SOUND INSIDE runs March 5 through April 2.  

Tuyết Thị Phạm Joins Everyman Theatre As Associate Artistic Director And Resident Acting Company Member 

The Everyman Theatre announced today that Tuyết Thị Phạm has joined the organization as Associate Artistic Director and member of The Resident Company of Artists. Everyman Theatre is one of only a handful of Regional Theatres that has a resident company of professional artists as part of its mission, and Phạm is only the second Associate Artistic Director who is also a member of the Resident Company as an actor.   

Cast and Creative Team Announced for CABARET at Porchlight Music Theatre

Porchlight Music Theatre will present the Tony Award-winning landmark musical Cabaret, at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts January 14 - February 12, 2023. Porchlight’s production is directed by Artistic Director Michael Weber, associate directed and choreographed by Brenda Didier and music directed by Linda Madonia.

The HISTORY Channel Launches HISTORY Travel Program

With a robust domestic and international slate, HISTORY Travel’s first trip kicks off in colorful jazz epicenter New Orleans in November 2022, followed by Pearl Harbor, Hawaii in December.  Additional destinations include England, Greece, Italy, France, Gettysburg & Antietam and Yellowstone National Park. 

Everyman Theatre Receives $25,000 Grant From the National Endowment for the Arts

Everyman Theatre has been approved for a $25,000 Grants for Arts Projects award to support CRYING ON TELEVISION, a new play by Baltimore playwright R. Eric Thomas. This project will provide for the development of Crying on Television from workshopping, to part of its 2020/21 Summer 6-Pack reading series, to a mainstage production.

Contemporary Comedy With A Dark Edge, Up Next Up For Everyman Theatre

Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi, announced today that Everyman Theatre actors, designers, and crew are back in the rehearsal room preparing for the run of Molly Smith Metzler's 2017 play, Cry It Out. The full production will be filmed at the theatre and available virtually to stream into homes from March 1 through April 11. Lancisi will also direct the play.

Everyman Theatre Extends AGATHA CHRISTIE'S MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS

Everyman Theatre is pleased to announce the extended run of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, currently on stage. will be adding seven shows. Adapted by noted playwright Ken Ludwig, the Everyman production, directed by Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi, the show is delighting Everyman audiences and is already 95% sold out during the regular run. 

MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS Comes to the Everyman Theatre

Everyman Theatre continues its 2019/2020 season with Agatha Christie's famous whodunita?"the literary, cinematic, and now theatrical classic, Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express. Everyman's production, directed by Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi and adapted by noted playwright Ken Ludwig (Lend Me A Tenor, Crazy For You), runs December 3, 2019, through January 5, 2020.
