Celebrating its 40th anniversary season in 2022, Inside Broadway announces the return of its professional touring production this year – the first time since COVID-19, bringing classic Broadway musicals directly into New York City school's auditorium to give the students, teachers, and staff a fun, educational, and safe live theatre experience.

The Town Hall will present the 21st season of Broadway By The Year, created, written, hosted and directed by Scott Siegel. This year, The Town Hall will set a new, exciting standard for its signature series, with each concert highlighting a major musical theater theme.

Top Of The World, The James Cagney Musical will arrive in London’s West End in a by-invitation-only workshop presentation December 9 and 10. It is produced by Riki Kane Larimer and Kate Edelman Johnson.

This Performance on Screen is a dazzling showcase that reveals the essence of the man, his music, and the era of show business he helped shape. Taking a look at the ride of Cohan’s life, we learn he definitely meant it when he said “Give My Regards To Broadway.”

As part of a summer series of concerts to welcome the arts, artists and audiences back to Brunswick, MSMT mounted the first of two gala concerts featuring four of the company’s most storied performers, Charis Leos, Lauren Blackman, Kingsley Leggs and Robert Creighton with a cameo appearance by Curt Dale Clark in a rousing, heart healing, and heartwarming evening that is playing for just two performances (July 28-29). Conceived and directed by MSMT’s Artist Director, Curt Dale Clark, STARS 1 allows these incomparable artists with resumes filled with Broadway, national tour, and leading regional theatre credits, to reprise some of their biggest hits and favorite moments and to reminisce about their careers and their experiences here in Maine. The cast creates the perfect ensemble, spinning a musical and narrative thread that is by turns comic, poignant, stirring, and inspiring.

20th Century USA will be performed before as live audience at San Francisco's Phoenix Theatre July 23, 30, 31, and August 1. MET Artistic Director Lewis Campbell directs. 

It’s a month filled with music and masterful performances as BroadwayHD today announced their upcoming slate of titles joining the platform.  Starting July 1, celebrate Independence Day early with the patriotic classic and musical tour de force, Yankee Doodle Dandy, starring Academy Award Winner James Cagney.

The company will reopen the theater with the July 2021 production of the romantic comedy “Pride and Prejudice” by Kate Hamill, based on the novel by Jane Austen. County Players will also continue the well-received CP2 Readers Theater Series with three mini-festivals.

 Irish Repertory Theatre announced today three Performance on Screen digital productions for their Summer 2021 season. Ghosting, by Anne O’Riordan and Jamie Beamish and directed for streaming by Jamie Beamish, will premiere on Tuesday June 22, 2021. The production, starring Anne O’Riordan, will run through Sunday July 4, 2021. 

ASCAP Award-winner Chip Deffaa's 'Say it with Music' cast album--with a cast of 21 led by  Michael Townsend Wright and Jed Peterson, who helped develop the show at New York's 13th Street Theater--is out now!  The album--featuring no less than 40 songs by Irving Berlin---may be ordered now (as either a physical CD or digital download).

In enthusiastic preparation for their Kids' Program Spring Workshops, the Ridgefield Theater Barn is expanding and improving the outdoor campus originally constructed last year at the beginning of the pandemic. With new original programming, and guided by Covid safety precautions, the Barn will have more outdoor space going forward, including the addition of a small, outdoor stage, giving RTB Kids the opportunity to perform for their families after a long year of isolation. Having this expanded outdoor campus means families can be confident in their child's return to the performing arts. Space is extremely limited, and registration is open.

The Ridgefield Theater Barn is launching three unique workshops as part of their popular kids' program. Miss Stacie and Miss Anya, Program Director and Program Musical Director respectively, have put together an engaging and dynamic curriculum to adjust to the demands of Covid-19, and the Theater Barn will utilize their 'outdoor learning annex'.
