YELLOW SOUND LABEL will release Baby: New Off-Broadway Cast Recording next year to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the show’s original production. The album is scheduled for release on streaming and digital platforms on February 14, 2023.

The Out of the Box Theatrics (OOTB) revival of Floyd Collins, previously announced for an Off-Broadway production this fall to be directed by Christina Sajous, has been canceled. OOTB was granted a license to produce Floyd Collins but were later informed that the authors, Tina Landau and Adam Guettel, are in the process of revising the musical and do not wish for it to be performed in New York City at this time.

This fall, Out of the Box Theatrics (2022 Drama Desk nominee for Baby) and Jennifer Campos Productions in association with Weathervane Theatre will present staged readings of three new plays by three exciting new emerging playwrights. Each reading will be available to watch live or streaming.

Out of the Box Theatrics has announced Elise Forier Edie's new play, American Pain, has been selected as a 2021 United Solo Official Selection. This new solo work about the early years of the opioid epidemic will play at Theatre Row on Friday, October 29th at 7:30 PM. American Pain stars Stephanie Burden (“The Middle”). It is directed by Keith Edie and produced by OOTB.

Feinstein’s/54 Below, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present The Songs of Howard Ashman, a special concert celebrating lyricist Howard Ashman. A portion of ticket sales will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. 

Tony Award winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal) will star in The Pink Unicorn, a new film based on the play by Elise Forier Edie and directed by Amy E. Jones, it was announced today by Just One More Productions. 

Out of the Box Theatrics will present the audio play Ebenezer,​ an adaptation of the Charles Dickens’ classic ​A Christmas Carol​. It is adapted and directed by W. Alan Waters. Sound production and audio description for the piece is by DimlyWit Productions.

Weathervane Theatre and Out of the Box Theatrics have announced the virtual co-production of A NEW YORK HOLIDAY MINUTE. This 90-minute original holiday anthology will livestream December 14 - 18 and December 20 at 5:30 and 7:30 PM ET.
