Nancy Manocherian's the cell presents the New York Premiere of THE EVOLUTION OF MANN

the cell, who scored a surprise hit with Bastard Jones last winter, invites you to the New York Premiere of THE EVOLUTION OF MANN, a musical featuring music & lyrics by Drama Desk nominee Douglas J. Cohen (Children's Letters to God, The Opposite of Sex) and book & lyrics by Dan Elish (13: The Musical) based on his novel, Nine Wives.  Directed by Joe Barros (Bastard Jones), performances run September 23 - October 21 at the cell is located at 338 W 23rd St, between 8th & 9th Aves in Chelsea.)

Lewis Carroll's classic story Alice's Adventures in Wonderland has been freshly adapted in a unique and groundbreaking interactive experience for children in Alice in Alice's. This new and immersive musical has been gathering buzz since it's premiere at Weathervane Playhouse this summer. Audiences will be delighted to know the show begins a month-long run on August 11th at Alice's Tea Cup and will be performed by a cast of four actors with disabilities.

Directed by Joe Barros (Bastard Jones), the production will star Max Crumm (Grease, Disaster!) in the title role. Previews begin September 23 at the cell with opening slated for Thursday, October 4.

Early Bird Subscriptions ($75) are now available. Regular subscriptions priced ($93) go on sale January 22. Single tickets ($30-$42) go on sale February 12. Also in 2018, OOTB will offer it's new #Box4All program. For each production an extremely limited number of $15 tickets will be available to audience members under 25.
