An eight-week workshop is taking registrants for teenage actors looking to learn from two of the industry's most respected!

Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens is set to stream on World AIDS Day -today, December 1 (5pm), featuring 51 performers and benefitting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens honors the lives lost to AIDS through free-verse monologues with a blues, jazz and rock score.

Abingdon Theatre Company has announced an array of programming – albeit virtual! - for the remainder of its 2020-2021 season. In honor of World AIDS Day – tomorrow, Tuesday, December 1, Abingdon Theatre Company will be a co-producer for the virtual revival of “Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens,” to benefit BC/EFA.

More Broadway, television and film stars have been added to the celebrated series of songs and monologues Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens, set to stream on World AIDS Day - Tuesday, December 1, 2020. The virtual production, featuring 51 performers, will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

As BroadwayWorld reported last week, The Lincoln Project created an incredible video, titled Covita- a Trump-themed parody of 'Don't Cry For Me Argentina' from the musical Evita. It was later revealed that Broadway veteran Lisa Howard (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, It Shoulda Been You) lent her voice to the now viral tune, which has has almost 3.5 million views. Now she's telling us all about how she became involved!
