Three talented high school seniors from Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach have received Palm Beach Symphony's 2026 Lisa Bruna B-Major Award. Violinist Michael Li was awarded first place, pianist Josefina Ezcurra placed second and violinist Elias Cohen placed third.

Players of the Palm Beach Symphony mentored young musicians enrolled in orchestra and band classes, and they also performed for student audiences school-wide in Pre-K through 12th grade across Palm Beach County.

Palm Beach Symphony is now accepting nominations for the Lisa Bruna B-Major Award which will bestow upon one to three high school seniors in Palm Beach County an advanced level instrument that will be suitable for college auditions and the start of a career in music.
Palm Beach Symphony and CBS12 News will broadcast a special holiday concert filled with sounds of the season airing on Christmas Eve at 8 p.m. and Christmas day at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. The CW34 will simulcast the concert on Christmas morning and repeat the special on December 26 at 6 p.m.

In addition to short plays, one-woman shows, and dance pieces the festival will also feature a visual art exhibit and a special performance by Girl Be Heard. Performance schedules and directors will be announced in September. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, September 2nd.
