Palm Beach Symphony's 24th Annual Gala: A Standing Ovation broke the nonprofit orchestra's previous fundraising record by raising $1.2 million in donations.

Three talented high school seniors from Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach have received Palm Beach Symphony's 2026 Lisa Bruna B-Major Award. Violinist Michael Li was awarded first place, pianist Josefina Ezcurra placed second and violinist Elias Cohen placed third.

Supporters of the Palm Beach Symphony gathered for a kick-off cocktail reception and dinner in advance of the Symphony’s 24th Annual Gala. Check out photos of the evening.

Nominations are now open for Palm Beach Symphony's annual Lisa Bruna B-Major Award for high school seniors and the Instrumental Music Teacher of the Year Award for dedicated music teachers in Palm Beach County.

Led by Palm Beach Symphony Music Director and Conductor Gerard Schwarz, “The Encore” concert will conclude the Symphony's 2024-2025 Masterworks Series.

Palm Beach residents and philanthropists, Paul and Karen Levy, will generously match up to $250,000 in donations to a challenge grant they created to benefit Palm Beach Symphony.

Palm Beach Symphony has received the largest, most substantial instrument donation from a single party at one time with a generous donation from TeamWork USA. 

​​​​​​Nominations are now open for the Palm Beach Symphony’s annual Lisa Bruna B-Major Awards for high school seniors and the Instrumental Music Teacher of the Year Award for dedicated music teachers in Palm Beach County.

Palm Beach Symphony reached 7,943 K-12 students during the 2021-2022 school year via innovative programs presented at no charge to the schools or students.  Players of the Palm Beach Symphony mentored young musicians enrolled in orchestra and band classes, and they also performed for student audiences school-wide in Pre-K through 12th grade across Palm Beach County.

Music students may have just returned to the classroom but high school seniors are already thinking about college. Palm Beach Symphony is now accepting nominations for the Lisa Bruna B-Major Award which will bestow upon one to three high school seniors in Palm Beach County an advanced level instrument that will be suitable for college auditions and the start of a career in music.

Palm Beach Symphony and CBS12 News will broadcast a special holiday concert filled with sounds of the season airing on Christmas Eve at 8 p.m. and Christmas day at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. The CW34 will simulcast the concert on Christmas morning and repeat the special on December 26 at 6 p.m.

The Delray Beach Playhouse will present its first ever PLAYHOUSE PLAYWRIGHTS' FESTIVAL on October 26th and 27th.

Celebrating eleven years and thousands of nominees, the New York Innovative Theatre awards took place at Mason Hall at Baruch Performing Arts Center.

On Monday, July 20, 2015, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 11 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2015 nominees at its annual event, The IT Party. Manhattan Theatre Source announces the performance schedule for their 15th Annual EstroGenius Festival, a multimedia performance festival showcasing female voices from a variety of disciplines, running October 2-November 2 at Stage Left Studio (214 West 30th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue) and the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery).

Manhattan Theatre Source announces the performance schedule for their 15th Annual EstroGenius Festival, a multimedia performance festival showcasing female voices from a variety of disciplines, running October 2-November 2 at Stage Left Studio (214 West 30th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue) and the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery).

Manhattan Theatre Source announces the playwrights, solo artists, and choreographers for their 15th Annual EstroGenius Festival, a multimedia performance festival showcasing female voices from a variety of disciplines, running October 2-November 1 at Stage Left Studio (214 West 30th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue) and the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). In addition to short plays, one-woman shows, and dance pieces the festival will also feature a visual art exhibit and a special performance by Girl Be Heard. Performance schedules and directors will be announced in September. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, September 2nd.
