The Phantom of the Opera has officially returned to London, in a slightly reworked production, starring Killian Donnelly and Lucy St. Louis.

The worldwide smash musical The Phantom of the Opera recently resumed West End performances at Her Majesty's Theatre, led by stars Killian Donnelly and the musical's first Black Christine Daae, Lucy St. Louis. Watch as the company returns to the stage and delights phans for the first time in over a year.

'I never saw women in lead roles that look like me, and I was always kind of told that you're going to be playing certain roles,' she said. 'And they were roles that were made for Black performers. I want everybody to know that they can be in this position because when you see it you believe it.'

Wishing Phantom was somehow here again? Phans can rejoice, because rehearsals are officially underway for the West End return of The Phantom of the Opera. The musical will open at Her Majesty's Theatre on July 27.

Lucy St Louis will play 'Christine Daaé' and Rhys Whitfield will play 'Raoul'. They join the previously announced double Olivier Award nominee Killian Donnelly as 'The Phantom'.

Over 100 UK performers have come together to remotely record 'The Bells of Notre Dame' from Disney's animated film 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame'. The project has been produced by Wicked actress Rebecca Gilliland, who founded Bookend Productions, to give artists a chance to perform after the COVID-19 pandemic shut down theatres across the world.

The group, which includes a mixture of West End performers, (Les Miserables, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, Book of Mormon, Bat out of Hell and more) performers from across the UK and new performing arts graduates, recorded their parts for the song from their homes to comply with COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Guildford Fringe Theatre Company has been forced to reschedule its family pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, at The Borough Hall, Godalming, to the revised dates of 19 to 31 December 2020 (originally due to run 12 to 26 December 2020).

Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Group have announced that their new UK and Ireland Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, which had only played its opening date prior to a 14 month tour, will not re-open.

Actor Killian Donnelly, will don the mask of the title character in a new UK tour of The Phantom of the Opera!

A concert version of the brand new musical 'Cleopatra' will be staged at the Actors' Church in Covent Garden on Saturday May 11 as part of Iris Theatre Company's WorkIn Progress season, co-produced by Cr8tract productions. Epic in scale and intimate in its emotional intensity and with a soaring and lavish score, 'Cleopatra' The Musical focuses on the character of the infamous Queen of ancient Egypt and the conflict between her desire for power and her need to be loved as well as on the dramatic political and war-torn background of the times and the tragedy of the two men (Julius Caesar and Mark Antony) who were doomed by their love for her.

After sold out shows in April 2018 and May 2017, lyricist Robert Gould will return to the Union Theatre at 7.30pm on October 21 with A LONELY VOICE, a concert of songs with his lyrics performed by a cast of West End and Off-West End musical theatre performers (from the casts of shows such as Tina The Musical, Little Shop Of Horrors and Wicked). The concert will feature a showcase of songs from "Cleopatra", a brand new musical-in-development by Robert Gould and Lyndon Samuel, as well as an eclectic mix of musical theatre, indie pop and folk/rock numbers with music penned by composers from the UK, USA, Sweden, Israel and the Netherlands, including Tristan Bons, Alex James Ellison, Alexander Engstrom, Dean Heller, Ty Kroll, Omri Lahav, Ben Messenger, Christopher J.
