Acclaimed singer and actress Erin Leddy (Ghostlight the musical; Anything Goes; The Great Gatsby) and multiple award-winning performer of stage and screen Tim Realbuto (who recently won The Hollywood Moving Image Award for Best Leading Actor for the motion picture YES) will bring their new concert From Broadway With Love to The Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Cafe on West 42d Street, right in the heart of midtown. The concert will take place at 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 13th, just in time for Valentine's Day. The two best friends are teaming up again after a very successful concert called Crossroads that they performed in 2018 at The Green Room 42.

If It Only Even Runs A Minute Celebrates The Underappreciated Musicals of Hal Prince is the 18th edition of the Bistro Award-winning series of rare songs, behind-the-scenes tales, and inspiring photos from underappreciated Broadway and off-Broadway musicals-and its first with a theme!

One of the most interesting cabaret performers in town, Joanne Halev debuted her first club act in 2018 to great response, and part of it is because she is SO interesting a?? and so is her former career. Stephen Mosher talks with Joanne about transitioning from perfume to performing.

@bwaysessions2019 is officially over and we wanted to take a moment to look back on some highlights from the past decade of Broadway Sessions. We're currently in the midst of our 12th Season and we could not be more grateful for all of our performers, audience members, open mic-ers, followers and supporters. It is an honor to be one of NYC's longest-running cabaret shows. Thank you to everybody for your continued support over the years, and we cannot wait to see what 2020 has in store! After a sold-out engagement this past fall at Pangea, Zachary Clause has announced that he is bringing his latest cabaret comedy, Sherry at a Funeral, to Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St.) on Tuesday, February 4. Doors open at 9:00pm with the show beginning at 9:30pm.

Happy Holidays from Broadway Sessions! Our Annual All-Star Holiday Show this past Thursday the 19th was such a joyous occasion. Belting, tapping, singalongs and laughing- oh my! Our All-Star lineup included Paige Davis (Chicago, Trading Spaces), Patrick Page (Hadestown) Jewelle Blackman (Hadestown), Max Chernin (Sunday in The Park), Rhaamell Burke-Missouri (King Kong), Hernando Umana (School of Rock), Nicole Vanessa Ortiz (Smokey Joe's Cafe), Riza Takahashi (Mean Girls), Gianna Yanelli (Mean Girls), Jessica Juanich (Bat Out Of Hell), Imari Hardon (Avenue Q), Robert Mantano (Radio City Christmas Spectacular), Eric Sebek (Radio City Christmas Spectacular), The Honey Taps, Colleen Harris, Michael Kirk Lane, Katryna Marttala, and Anthony Fett. 

The most unique and most beloved man in the cabaret business came out of retirement in 2018 and discovered he still had it. That's why he is PANGEA'S choice to ring in the new year with their discerning clientele.

Yours truly and the rest of her audience on the night were aching with laughter most of the time. She is also a very good singer and a funny B!+ch. She plays with the audience and plays TO the audience.

Last night legendary drag performer JACKIE BEAT opened her 21st annual holiday show ILLUMINATI OR NICE? to a sold-out crowd at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. There are two more sold-out shows, tonight, Saturday 12/21 and tomorrow night, Sunday 12/22.

Last night Broadway Sessions offered up it's annual All Star Holiday Show at The Laurie Beechman. Broadway Sessions alumni will reunited for an evening of holiday music, magic, laughs and love.

Britain's Got Talent singing sensation BECKY O'BRIEN returns New York with her new holiday show A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS on Thursday, December 19 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. The most wonderful time of the year gets even more wonderful as the angelic-voiced O'Brien shares her favorite Christmas songs and stories of holidays in the UK. Showtime is at 7 PM. RuPaul's Drag Race favorite singer/songwriter HONEY DAVENPORT has a big package to share with audiences this December as she presents STOCKING STUFFER - A CHRISTMAS SHOW WITH BALLS, her debut holiday extravaganza. As she waits for Santa to come down her chimney, the sticky and sweet drag star regales audiences with stories and holiday songs. Spoiler alert: Honey has been very naughty this year! Directed by Mark A. Dahl with musical direction by Paisley Fields.

Cabaret doyen Eric Michael Gillett brought his annual Christmas concert DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR! to The Laurie Beechman Theatre before taking it to North Carolina, and audiences were all aglow with joy.

This past Thursday at Broadway Sessions we took a trip down memory lane to Bikini Bottom at our Spongebob Cast Reunion Show! It was a joy to have the gang all back together as we all reminisced and naturally, hilarity ensued. Our wonderful lineup included Lauralyn McClelland, Kyle Matthew Hamilton, Danny Skinner & Ethan Slater, Robert Taylor Jr., Gavin Lee, Kelvin Moon Loh, Tina Landau, with special guests Marty Thomas, Finn Douglas, and Rising Star Catie Pires Fernandes. What a fun way to gear up for the HIGHLY anticipated Spongebob broadcast on Nickelodeon last week!
