The first Spotlight KIDZ CABARET of the new year and decade, featuring talented youth and stars in the making, will be held tomorrow at the Laurie Beechman Theater. The event is hosted by Spotlight Kidz (Pottsville, PA) and is under the direction of Sandy Kost-Sterner. Music direction for this cabaret will be done by Jason Wetzel.

Dixon Place will present Tin Pan Alley 2, a free concert series featuring new musical theatre works on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 7:30pm. After three successful concerts in 2019, this time it will be showcasing new works by writers Pablo Concha, Jessie Field, and Joel Paszkowski, and hosted by Durra Leung and Sam Rosenblatt. Festa Della Donna, a celebration of Italian-American women, is slated for the Laurie Beechman Theatre Saturday March 7th. The event, in honor of International Women's Month, pays tribute to their contributions to the arts and features an accomplished lineup of female Italian-American performers spanning the genres of music, comedy and dance.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway cast twice monthly. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, February 6th, Broadway Sessions celebrates Black History Month with an all star line up of Broadway vets.
TRANS VOICES CABARET Returns For 2020

NYC's premiere cabaret featuring trans, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming performers is back at The Duplex with their first show of the year on Saturday, February 22nd at 9:30pm. Trans Voices Cabaret is excited to be partnering with Babetown, a pop-up supper club for queer women, trans, and nonbinary folx created by chef Alex Koones. The show is directed by TVC creator Donnie Cianciotto, with Musical Direction by Anessa Marie. Cianciotto will also serve as the evening's emcee.

At every show we do, along with our Broadway performers who come to sing with us, we also showcase a young artist who has not yet tread the Great White Way! Many of our Rising Stars go on to do INCREDIBLE things and we were so happy to be joined by some of our favorite alumni!
