According to The New York Times Arts Blog, Sting will be releasing a new album on September 24th which will include songs from his new musical THE LAST SHIP. The full-length LP marks his first release of original material since 2003.

According to an Equity casting notice, Sting's new stage musical, THE LAST SHIP, which has been buzzed about for an upcoming Broadway run, will get a staged reading this spring. Joe Mantello will direct the project, which is set to take place April 29 through May 11.

For its 21st annual Spring Gala, the Kennedy Center will present My Fair Lady in Concert on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall. MARY POPPINS celebrates its sixth anniversary today, November 16, 2012. It began previews at the New Amsterdam Theatre (214 West 42nd Street) on October 14, 2006 before officially opening on November 16, 2006.
