Complete casting has been announced for the the highly anticipated World Premiere of The Wrong Man, the new stage musical written by multi-platinum songwriter Ross Golan.

Today, Guitarist Slim Gambill releases “54321” with an exclusive Billboard.com debut. The track is the second to be released from Fake Jazz & Theme Songs, the debut album from Gambill, who is also sideman and lead guitarist for the multi platinum recording artist, Lady Antebellum. Fake Jazz & Theme Songs is now available for pre-order and will be released on September 6th via Ludlow St. Records on all digital platforms.

Vevo announces the release of Lady Antebellum's live performance of 'Pictures.' Lady Antebellum blend contemporary country with soulful 60's R&B into an infectious brew that relies on the trio's rich harmonies and impeccable instrumental skills. The trio was formed in 2006 by Charles Kelley (brother of singer/songwriter Josh Kelley), Hillary Scott (daughter of Grammy-winning country artist Linda Davis), and Dave Haywood, and soon graduated from dive bars to the Grand Ole Opry.

As 'Went Out Last Night', we were 'Living in Fast Forward', and 'Playing Cinderella' and there might have been 'Something In The Water' as sweet as 'American Honey', some may have been a 'Real Good Man' or had a 'Girl Crush' but we all knew we'd be leaving 'When The Sun Goes Down'. Although leaving some people might have been thinking 'When I Get Where I'm Going', and thinking of the other great songs we heard.

But without songwriters Dewayne Blackwell and Earl Bud Lee, Garth Brooks never would have sung Friends in Low Places. Nor would you ever have heard Before He Cheats or Live Like You Were Dying without Chris Tompkins and Josh Kear to write the former for Carrie Underwood or Tim Nichols and Craig Wiseman to pen the latter for Tim McGraw.

Honey County brings the country music community together in their inspiring new music video, “Country Strong.”Premiered by Billboard, the country trio dedicates the video to the resilient country music community and their ability to rise up through hard times. A portion of the profits from the song are being donated to ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music, aimed to develop and fund music-related therapy and education programs, serving members of the community who face unexpected hardships.

Twenty-five years ago in Grand Rapids, the Van Andel Arena still was on the drawing board. Meijer Gardens had opened just three months earlier, but it would be many years before an outdoor amphitheater would be built as a venue for summer concerts.   At Cannonsburg Ski Area, on a steamy evening in mid-July, the Grand Rapids Symphony launched a brand new, outdoor concert experience called the Picnic Pops.   This season The Grand Rapids Symphony celebrates its 25th Anniversary of its D&W Fresh Market Picnic Pops with a series of three shows that are all time favorites with Picnic Pops audiences plus a special event capping off four weeks of concerts at Cannonsburg.

The Country Music Association's acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance in Charlotte at the McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square Wednesday, Aug. 7 featuring Russell Dickerson, Lindsay Ell, Jordan Reynolds and Frank Rogers. The series hosts an intimate round of performances with some of Country Music's top songwriting talent taking turns sharing the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. Tickets for the performance start at $15 plus service fees and go on sale Friday, July 12 at 10:00 AMET at Blumenthal Performing Arts. $1 of each ticket sold will benefit the CMA Foundation, CMA's philanthropic arm, which is committed to improving and sustaining high quality music education programs across the United States. 

Fast-rising dynamic sister trio Southern Halo has joined Pepsi MidAmerica's Country4Country campaign and will take the stage at the official kickoff concert on July 21 in Marion, IL at Rent One Park. Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities, hosted the20th Anniversary Kickoff Celebration Presented by Pepsi at the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum this pastFriday night (May 31), raising $330,000, the most funds raised at a MOC event in Nashville to date. Today, CMT announced that GRAMMY Award-winning, best-selling country duo Brooks & Dunn will take the stage with some of the brightest young talent in country music during a special public taping of “CMT Crossroads,” the network's flagship music series. The hour-long show will tape in downtown Nashville on Tuesday, June 4 and will premiere on CMT on Friday, June 28 at 10 p.m. ET.
