On December 15th a cast Broadway favorites will take to the stage of 54 Below to celebrate the music of the 2001 cult classic movie 'Josie and the Pussycats.' Singing the pop/rock soundtrack will be Krystina Alabado (American Idiot), Alex Boniello (Spring Awakening), Jenny Baker (Fiddler on the Roof), Virginia Cavaliere (In the Heights tour), Lauren Chapman (Kinky Boots), Kathryn Gallagher (Spring Awakening), Sean Grandillo (Spring Awakening), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Krysta Rodriguez (Spring Awakening), Mike Schwitter (Pippin), Ali Stroker (Spring Awakening), and Alex Wyse (Spring Awakening).

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) presents Lazarus byDavid Bowie and Enda Walsh (Once, Tony Award), inspired by the novel The Man Who Fell to Earth by Walter Tevis, and directed by Ivo van Hove (Hedda Gabler, More Stately Mansions, Obie Awards). Lazarus officially opens tonight, December 7, 2015, and will now run through January 17, 2016 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003). "Charlie Pollock & Friends" will bring down the Columbia High School Auditorium house at 7:30pm on MONDAY DECEMBER 14th, raising money for the Achieve Foundation's 'Vanessa Pollock Music Initiative'. The VP Music Initiative was founded to help repair/add instruments for the entire SOMSD, provide scholarships to in-need students for the rental of their band/orchestra instrument, and to provide private music instruction and instruments to in-need prodigious students.

One of the most highly anticipated shows of the season, LAZARUS, is already causing quite a stir, and now more information has been revealed about David Bowie's new musical.

Tickets for LAZARUS, the second production of the New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) (Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker) 2015/16 Season, will go on sale today beginning at 12pm EST. Single tickets for LAZARUS are $95. A limited number of $25 CheapTix will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for the first two performances. Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars!
