MISCELLANEA— a dance party that uses light to cycle through four different color “moods,” and features live performances to set the tone in each. The night flows in and out of dance and music performances and DJ’d sets— but even the traditional dance party format is dotted with micro interactive moments. See photos from the production.

New York based production company MinuteZero has announced the premiere of MISCELLANEA, a sensory immersive experience that combines dance, one on one theater, a live DJ, and lighting design to create specially curated 'moods,' for a completely unique evening of entertainment.

What did our critic think of CHICAGO at The Lexington Theatre Company? Chicago the Musical is in a word , conic, especially for musical theatre types. Thanks to a wildly successful film adaptation, it's a cemented staple in pop culture. With perhaps John Kander and Fred Ebb's most recognizable score, the show has been wowing broadway audiences since 1996 and is still the longest running American musical. The Lexington Theatre company closes their summer season with the show, and while the whole of their production was indeed greater than the some of it's parts, 'Razzle Dazzled' isn't how I would describe my feelings throughout the opening night performance.

The Lexington Theatre Company brings Broadway and Rising Stars to the stage.  Chicago will be led by Kristin Yancy (The Cher Show, Summer:  The Donna Summer Musical) as Roxie, Lexington's own Haley Fish (Kiss Me Kate, Hello Dolly, Cats, The Music Man) as Velma, and J. Daughtry (Ain't Too Proud, The Color Purple, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) as Billy Flynn.

Catch Me If You Can begins performances tonight, March 4, at the Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. The musical features a book by Terrence McNally, music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman and based on the Dreamworks Motion Picture.
