Actor Kevin Bacon has more than 70 movies to his credit, including the iconic “Footloose.” Now he's trying something new: a highly anticipated podcast called “The Last Degree of Kevin Bacon.” He tells TODAY the show is actually scripted comedy, “really like an old radio play.” He adds, “it's a lot of me poking fun at myself.” Guest stars include Emily Deschanel, Terry Gross and Bacon's wife, Kyra Sedgwick.

West Valley Arts will present Footloose, running March 12-28, 2020 at Harman Theatre. With a stellar, local cast, Footloose will have audiences dancing in their seats. 'We were blown away by the talent at auditions and couldn't be happier with the cast we have. They are working extremely hard and it will show on opening night,' stated director Jeanne McGuire.

“Live in Front of a Studio Audience: 'All in the Family' and 'Good Times'” adds even more star power to the highly anticipated live sitcom holiday special airing on ABC, WEDNESDAY, DEC. 18 (8:00-9:32 p.m. EST). In this one-night-only event, an all-star lineup of talent will tackle the roles first portrayed in the iconic television sitcom “Good Times,” including Viola Davis and Andre Braugher as Florida Evans and James Evans, Jay Pharoah as J.J Evans, Asante Blackk as Michael Evans, Corinne Foxx as Thelma Evans and Tiffany Haddish recreating the role of Willona Woods. Jharrel Jerome is also confirmed to join the star-studded cast. Joining forces for a show-stopping musical performance will be ABC's Anthony Anderson and the legendary Patti LaBelle. This holiday-inspired live event produced by Sony Pictures Television will recreate installments of Norman Lear and Bud Yorkin's Emmy® Award-winning series “All in the Family” and groundbreaking sitcom “Good Times,” created by Mike Evans, Eric Monte and developed by Lear.

Esteemed cast members joining the “All in the Family” cast include Kevin Bacon, Jesse Eisenberg and Justina Machado. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) has selected Dylan and Paris Brosnan as the Golden Globe Ambassadors for the 2020 Golden Globe Awards season. Dylan and Paris are the sons of two-time Golden Globe Award nominee Pierce Brosnan and filmmaker and environmentalist Keely Shaye Brosnan. In addition to aligning themselves with a nonprofit organization and working to raise awareness of a cause of their choosing, Dylan and Paris will assist with the distribution of statues during the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards. They will be joined by previously announced Carol Burnett Award recipient, Ellen DeGeneres; Cecil B. The Santa Barbara International Film Festival announced today that Renée Zellweger is set to receive the illustrious American Riviera Award in January 2020. Zellweger will be recognized for her many attributes to the art of film over the years, and most recently, her work as Judy Garland in LD Entertainment and Roadside Attractions' JUDY. The tribute will take place at the historic Arlington Theatre during the 35th Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

Alhambra Announces 2020 Season

The iconic Alhambra Theatre & Dining will open its 52nd season on January 9, 2020 with a four-week run of the Broadway hit, Love Letters. The Alhambra announced its 2020 season line up in early September to its current season subscribers, what the Alhambra refers to as Season Partners. There are more than 4,000 such fans of the Alhambra and the 2020 release marked a new record for renewals. Beginning Tuesday, September 30, 2019, the proverbial 'ticket windows' will open to the general public, giving access to Season Partnerships and single-show purchasing.
