I Don't Need an Acting Class, a new weekly podcast hosted by Academy and Emmy Award winner and celebrated acting teacher Milton Justice, will be released this month, beginning on March 10th, 2020. Based on his forthcoming book of the same name, the podcast seeks to demystify the craft of acting while answering the question, 'Why take an acting class?'

Actor Kevin Bacon has more than 70 movies to his credit, including the iconic “Footloose.” Now he's trying something new: a highly anticipated podcast called “The Last Degree of Kevin Bacon.” He tells TODAY the show is actually scripted comedy, “really like an old radio play.” He adds, “it's a lot of me poking fun at myself.” Guest stars include Emily Deschanel, Terry Gross and Bacon's wife, Kyra Sedgwick.

West Valley Arts will present Footloose, running March 12-28, 2020 at Harman Theatre. With a stellar, local cast, Footloose will have audiences dancing in their seats. This holiday-inspired live event produced by Sony Pictures Television will recreate installments of Norman Lear and Bud Yorkin's Emmy® Award-winning series “All in the Family” and groundbreaking sitcom “Good Times,” created by Mike Evans, Eric Monte and developed by Lear.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) has selected Dylan and Paris Brosnan as the Golden Globe Ambassadors for the 2020 Golden Globe Awards season. Dylan and Paris are the sons of two-time Golden Globe Award nominee Pierce Brosnan and filmmaker and environmentalist Keely Shaye Brosnan. In addition to aligning themselves with a nonprofit organization and working to raise awareness of a cause of their choosing, Dylan and Paris will assist with the distribution of statues during the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards. The Santa Barbara International Film Festival announced today that Renée Zellweger is set to receive the illustrious American Riviera Award in January 2020. Zellweger will be recognized for her many attributes to the art of film over the years, and most recently, her work as Judy Garland in LD Entertainment and Roadside Attractions' JUDY. The tribute will take place at the historic Arlington Theatre during the 35th Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
