All new cast portraits have been released for But I'm a Cheerleader: the Musical at the Turbine Theatre. Check out the photos here!

Making the perfect dismount into The Turbine Theatre and playing, Megan, our typical, all American, high school senior with a love of cheerleading is Jessica Aubrey (Bedknobs and Broomsticks). Taking on role of True Directions' resident rebel will be Megan Hill (Maria Friedman and Friends - Legacy), as Graham.

With theatres planning to reopen in the hopefully not too distant future, auditions have started but not as we knew them. Speaking to German Director Christopher Stadlhofer, he explains, 'Even after lock-down, we will likely be conducting our first rounds online or by self-tape. It's logistically easier and more cost-effective.' Germany has the second-largest theatre industry in Europe next to London. So, what do you need to know if you are auditioning by Zoom or other online platforms?

Shows currently on offer are  Tina, Lion King, Aladdin, Mamma Mia, Pretty Woman and the list goes on. This is good news for EU  Citizens who, post-Brexit, may have difficulties now working in London. 

Introducing Sasha Regan's ALL-MALE THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE cast. They have boarded the pirate ship and are on route to the Palace Theatre for 2 nights, on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December. The ship is carrying a star crew of burly pirates and an abundance of lasses in petticoats and plenty of rum! What's not to love!

 The original Broadway and London casts of The Drowsy Chaperone have reunited in song for a virtual fundraiser! The performers came together to sing 'As We Stumble Along (Reprise)'.

18 maggio, Roma. Il teatro Cometa Off va pian piano riempendosi con l'avvicinarsi delle 18:00. La sala e piccola, ma i posti sono quasi tutti occupati. Ci sono parenti e amici degli attori, ma anche curiosi e appassionati del genere che hanno scelto di passare un sabato pomeriggio diverso. Sul palco infatti stanno per esibirsi gli allievi dell'AMTA, l'American Musical Theatre Academy, portando in scena una versione piu moderna di GODSPELL, musical del 1971 composto da Stephen Schwartz e dal libretto di John-Michael Tebelak.

Terzo appuntamento con i vincitori dei BroadwayWorld Italy Awards, oggi con la giovane Sofia Caselli che ha portato a casa la vittoria di Miglior Attrice Protagonista per SWEET CHARITY. Il musical, che ha vinto anche come Miglior Spettacolo (con partitura non originale), e andato in scena lo scorso giugno al teatro Cometa Off di Roma.

VIOLET, a multi award-winning musical with Music by Jeanine Tesori (Tony Award winner for Best Original Score with Lisa Kron for Fun Home, and Tony-nominated for Caroline, or Change and Shrek the Musical), and Book & Lyrics by Brian Crawley (The Little Princess), is to get its UK premiere in a 12-week season to Saturday 6 April in an international co-production that will see it transfer to Tokyo

Final casting is announced for VIOLET, a multi award-winning musical with Music by Jeanine Tesori (Tony Award winner for Best Original Score with Lisa Kron for Fun Home, and Tony-nominated for Caroline, or Change and Shrek the Musical), and Book & Lyrics by Brian Crawley (The Little Princess).
