JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning international hit musical, will celebrate five record-breaking years on Broadway with a month-long benefit in support of the VH1 Save The Music Foundation by donating one dollar from every ticket sold for every performance in the month of October.

Multiple Grammy-Award winner and legendary music producer, Clive Davis, attended the 7:30 p.m. performance of Barry Manilow last night at Paris Las Vegas. Following the show, Davis joined Manilow backstage for photos.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced that Justin Guarini will join de'Adre Aziza, Laura Benanti, Danny Burstein, Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Patti LuPone, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Mary Beth Peil and Sherie Rene Scott in the cast of its upcoming production of the new musical WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN, based on the film by Pedro Almodóvar, with a book by Jeffrey Lane, music and lyrics by David Yazbek and direction by Bartlett Sher. This world premiere production will begin previews on Saturday, October 2 at 8pm and open on Thursday, November 4 at 6:45pm on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre (111 W. 44 Street).

Legendary singer-songwriter Barry Manilow's non-profit organization, the Manilow Music Project, will put musical instruments into the hands of Clark County School District middle and high school students beginning with a major donation this Fall.

John Mellencamp and his band are set to embark on the first leg of the No Better Than This Tour in late October following the August 17 release of his Rounder Records debut album, No Better Than This. The tour, designed as a uniquely formatted 'evening with,' brings Mellencamp's music to theater-sized venues, a rare opportunity to experience one of America's most iconic songwriters and performers in an intimate setting, highlighting all phases of his artistry.

Nigel Lythgoe will return to his role as an executive producer of 'American Idol' for the show's tenth season, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Lythgoe, who was an executive producer during the show's first seven seasons, will be one of four executive producers, along with Simon Fuller, Cecile Frot-Coutaz and Ken Warwick.

Acclaimed Canadian musician Meaghan Smith will join Sarah McLachlan, Kelly Clarkson, Mary J. Blige and others on the 2010 Lilith Fair this summer.
