In celebration of 86 Years of Theatre By The Sea, owner and producer Bill Hanney presents the joyous musical, Singin' in the Rain, which will be presented from June 19 - July 13, 2019.

BroadwayHD presents viewers the chance to come and meet those dancing feet of 42nd Street, when it debuts in cinemas as a one-night Fathom Events screening in movie theaters nationwide on Wednesday, May 1 at 7:00 p.m. local time. It will then be available on the Webby-nominated streaming service at a date to be announced. Tickets for screenings of 42nd Street can be purchased at www.FathomEvents.com and participating theater box offices.

North Shore Music Theatre's production of JEKYLL & HYDE starring Constantine Maroulis and Diana DeGarmo is now on stage. Under the direction of Broadway's original Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, Robert Cuccioli, JEKYLL & HYDE plays thru October 7, 2018.

Jekyll & Hyde opened last night at North Shore Music theatre (NSMT) to yet another standing ovation and thunderous applause. Overall the evening was a winner.

Bill Hanney's award-winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) has announced recording artists, Broadway veterans, and 'American Idol' finalists Constantine Maroulis and Diana DeGarmo will lead the cast of their upcoming production of Jekyll & Hyde (September 25 - October7), under the direction of Broadway's original Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, Robert Cuccioli.

Goodspeed favorite and Broadway alumni William Parry will join the cast of the spring hit The Will Rogers Follies in the role of Clem Rogers. This marks Mr. Parry's sixth Goodspeed production, having appeared previously in The Circus in Winter,High Button Shoes, The Gig, Good Sports and Blanco!. His Broadway credits include Groundhog Day, Gypsy, Sunday in the Park with George, Camelot and Jesus Christ Superstar, to name a few.

Every once in a while, a person is born who is destined to influence the world in ways yet to be seen. Sometimes these men and women are born into a position of power, such as a king or queen, and other times they do whatever it takes to become great and powerful business or political leaders on the backs of others. But once in a blue moon there comes a man who gains fortune and fame for simply being someone who people connect with, who speaks the truth, and who does his best to make the world a better place than he left it. One such man is the sage from Oologah ,Oklahoma, William Penn Adair Rogers. As time passes, fewer and fewer people are alive who had first-hand experience reading Will Rogers' column, listening to him on the radio, or seeing his films. It is for that reason, that we are lucky a show like THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES exists, and even luckier that Goodspeed Musicals chose it for the opening production of its 2018 season. Telling his life story over the course of a Ziegfeld follies extravaganza (another thing that many today have no memory of), this dazzling, colorful, and heartwarming musical takes audiences on a journey from rags to riches with America's "Cowboy Philosopher".

The box office is now open for the 2017 musical season at Bill Hanney's award-winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT). The five-show season will include THE MUSIC MAN, Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, EVITA and 42nd STREET.

Most actors receive a standard show contract for around 12 months, but that doesn't mean every actor hangs up their shoes and immediately walks into another show. In fact, not only do some actors extend their contracts, but some make an entire career out of an individual credit. Rob Ouellette, who is currently playing pianist Oscar and a member of the tap-dancing ensemble of the 42nd STREET national tour is about to shuffle into his 1,000th performance with the show on February 16th, 2017, so we caught up with him about his experience. Not only has Rob danced his way through six different companies of the musical, but he's performed several variations of the show's choreography, has worked three times with original book writer and director Mark Bramble, as well as with choreography icons Randy Skinner, Kelli Barclay, and Rick Conant, among others.

Goodspeed Musicals wants to help singers and actors to succeed in dance auditions.  In keeping with our mission to educate and support artists, Goodspeed will offer its first Goodspeed Movers Boot Camp January 6 - 8, 2017 at Pearl Studios in NYC. 

Steele Spring Stage Rights, the theatrical licensing company that represents 'The Marvelous Wonderettes,' has acquired the performance rights to the acclaimed off-Broadway musical 'Himself and Nora,' with book, music, and lyrics by Jonathan Brielle. Prior to being acquired by Stage Rights, 'Himself and Nora' played off-Broadway at the Minetta Lane Theatre.
