In the great tradition of multitalented stars, Broadway's newest diva Ashley Brown makes her solo record debut with her jazz vocal album, 'Speak Low.' Speak Low will be released nationwide on January 12, 2010 via Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records and Sony distribution. The album gets its digital release via online outlets today, November 10.

The album is filled with passionate, seductive interpretations of a wide range of songs covering jazz and Broadway standards. Speak Low is a collection of Ashley's personal favorites and will consist of new arrangements of such well known classics as 'My Funny Valentine', 'I'll Be Seeing You', 'My Only Love' and 'The Very Thought of You.'

Tony Award winner Frank Langella will join Grammy Award winner Debbie Moore for a holiday concert with the Boston Pops. The concert is the 26th annual presentation of 'A Company Christmas at Pops.' The concert will take place December 16th at the Symphony Hall in Boston. Keith Lockhart will conduct.

On December 15, its stars, La Chanze and J.Robert, will perform in concert and sign copies of the CD at the Lincoln Center Barnes & Noble.

Orchestra conductors develop distinctive styles as they shape and mold the sounds that their orchestras produce. Such is the case with Keith Lockhart. As the conductor of the famed Boston Pops orchestra, he has upheld what is affectionately known as 'The Pops Sound' and audiences expect it when they visit Symphony Hall. However, there was no doubt that Lockhart was in the orchestra pit wielding the baton during the Boston Lyric Opera's recent production of Georges Bizet's CARMEN at Beantown's theatre district.
