The Coolidge Corner Theatre ('the Coolidge') has announced the early lineup for its Winter / Early Spring 2023 Big Screen Classics series. 

For three nights only, from Thursday, January 12 – Saturday, January 14, two-time Tony Award nominee Eva Noblezada will welcome you to Nostalgia: A Love Letter to NYC, an intimate evening of songs and storytelling—celebrating everything that is so maddening and magical about our beloved city. It will be performed at the Minetta Lane Theatre.

Discover the story behind one of the greatest musicals in history as we dive deep into the history of Broadway's longest-running American musical, John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Bob Fosse's, 'Chicago.'

The Bad Dog Theatre Company will celebrate over 40 years of unscripted comedy and improvised performance in Toronto by bringing back its flagship show Theatresports every Friday for 40 weeks at Comedy Bar (945 Bloor St W) starting October 7th.

Titanic: The Movie, The Play will be presented from 15 September to 2 October at the Sydney Fringe Festival. This cheeky homage to the blockbuster 1997 movie will be staged at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour from 15 September to 2 October. Performances will take place Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night at 6.00pm and  8.00pm.

Jonathan Groff will star as “Franklin” and Lindsay Mendez will star as “Mary” in Merrily We Roll Along at New York Theatre Workshop. Merrily We Roll Along features music & lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and a book by George Furth. They join the previously announced Daniel Radcliffe, who will star as “Charley”.

For the second year, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (CSC) and the Coolidge Corner Theatre are teaming up to take an in-depth look at how some filmmakers have brought Shakespeare's stories to the screen.
