National Hellenic Museum will host HADESTOWN & EXPLORING ITS GREEK ROOTS panel discussion on Thursday, May 8. The event will feature HADESTOWN cast members: Jaylon C. Crump (Hermes), Katelyn Crall (Fate), Julia Schick (Swing/Assistant Dance Captain), and UIC Classics and Mediterranean Studies Senior Lecturer Krishni Burns, PhD.
I was enthralled in the whole show, and I promise you don't want to miss this show when it's in town. You don't want to look back and regret not seeing Hadestown while it's in Detroit.
Overall, we were glad we gave this show another chance. It will never be my favorite show, but it doesn’t have to be. It had some beautiful moments and some important messages about knowing what you are meant to offer the world and about not giving into doubt. Despite any negative opinions I have of the show, it did give us that. And that’s a pretty powerful thing to give.
This weekend through Sunday, November 10th, Broadway San Diego will take you to hell and back with the fantastic touring production of the musical “Hadestown.”
Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will return to San Diego this Fall.
Following its first successful tour, a new tour of Hadestown will launch this October. Over 40 dates have been announced at this time, with performances beginning October 3, 2024, at the Palace Theatre in Waterbury, CT. Learn more about the cast here!

The REV Theatre Company opens the second production of its 2022 season - The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The show runs July 13-August 2nd at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Auburn, NY.
