The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis will kick off the 2025/26 Season with the sharp-witted fresh comedy The Cottage by Sandy Rustin, the playwright of Clue. Learn more!

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis announced two dynamic plays to round out its 59th anniversary season, along with the directors and creative teams.

This morning The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis’ Danny Williams, Kate Bergstrom, Delaney Piggins, and Brian Coats welcomed invited members of the press to share The Rep’s plans for what they are calling their ‘Season of Daring Imagination.’ This year’s season will include five mainstage shows with an additional three shows in the Steve Woolf Studio Series. Bergstrom, the Augustin Family Artistic Director said, “This year we’ve planned relevant, excellent, and extraordinary experiences for our audience.”

Louis Reyes McWilliams, who plays Robin Hood, is an actor, writer, and director based in Los Angeles. Born in New Jersey, Louis grew up in California and Massachusetts before attending Stanford University, where he attained a BA in Theater & Performance Studies and Political Science. He went on to earn his MFA from the Brown University/Trinity Rep Program in Acting & Directing.

Blending comedy, swashbuckling action, and heartfelt moments, Ludwig’s adaptation brings a fresh and humorous take to the classic Robin Hood legend. Taking aim at one of Britain’s most famous legendary tales, the production, directed by Artistic Director, Kate Bergstrom, closes the company’s 58th season with an absurd take on the story of the famous outlaw.

The nominees’ reactions are starting to pour in following the St. Louis Theater Circle Awards announcement last week naming the nominees. Awards will be presented in 34 categories for outstanding achievement in Musicals, Dramas, Comedies, and Opera. Leading all companies is The Muny with 30 nominations. Two of the nominated actors are Adam Heller and Jessica Vosk. Heller played Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and Vosk starred as Jenna in The Muny premiere of WAITRESS. Both were nominated for Outstanding Performer in a Musical.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis will present the St. Louis premiere of Clyde's, the Tony-nominated hit by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winner Lynn Nottage, running February 5 – March 3, 2025, at the Loretto-Hilton Center on the campus of Webster University.
