The longest-running Annual Solo Festival for women in Los Angeles, LAWTF will take place March 24- March 27, 2022. The Festival will be presented virtually again this year. The overall theme of the Festival is Beyond Boundaries.

The 29TH Annual Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival (LAWTF) has a roster of distinguished artists who will co-host six evenings of programs virtually. This year's overall theme is Beyond Boundaries.

Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival is presenting Hindsight 2020, consisting of reflective stories of the year that changed everything. These are stories specifically of Culver City residents and workers that speak of their lives during the 2020 pandemic and lockdown, civil unrest in the streets, and a particularly turbulent election cycle.

The Palm Springs International Comedy Festival announced today that the PSICF 'Stanley Kramer Mad World Comedy Award' will go to Director, Writer (Midnight Run) George Gallo's new all-male comedy ensemble film 'The Comeback Trail' which stars Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman, Tommy Lee Jones, Zach Braff, Emile Hirsch, and Eddie Griffin.

The inaugural Palm Springs International Comedy Festival www.palmspringscomedyfest.com celebrated the top names in comedy at a special awards gala held on November 10 at the Hotel Zoso & Spa in downtown Palm Springs. The star studded, black tie event honored the best comedic celebrity talents in stand-up, film and television. Comedian Kathy Griffin was presented with the 'Comedian of the Year' Award, while Illeana Douglas received the 'Pioneer in Comedy Award' for the first ever branded Web series 'Easy To Assemble.' The award-winning cast and production team of Paramount's summer blockbuster 'Book Club' were presented with the 'Stanley Kramer Mad World Comedy Award.'

SAG-AFTRA announced that members Marsha Hunt, Norman Lloyd, June Lockhart and Barbara Perry will be recipients of the SAG-AFTRA Founders Award for their historic contributions to the union. The special tribute will be presented Saturday during the SAG-AFTRA National Board plenary and honors early members of SAG-AFTRA's predecessor unions, SAG and AFTRA, who have provided meritorious service to fellow members.
