Pioneer Theatre Company, Utah’s premiere professional theatre, will present A Christmas Story, The Musical—the Tony-nominated musical adaptation based on the 1983 film. The 2012 work was adapted for the stage by Joseph Robinette, with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

Pioneer Theatre Company, Utah’s premiere professional theatre, has appointed Eric Jackson as the company’s Associate Artistic and Outreach Director. Jackson will create a new role focused on fostering artistic connections at PTC and with the community-at-large.

Wrentmore’s take on the 17th-century classic farce puts women at the forefront by changing the trouble-making servant Scapin into a female character. PIONEER THEATRE COMPANY (PTC), Salt Lake City's fully professional regional theatre, has announced the four titles and authors to be included in this season's PLAY-BY-PLAY new play reading series to be held June 9 through June 18, 2022, in the Babcock Theatre level of the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre.

Pioneer Theatre Company presents the Utah premiere of an unconventional love story written by MATTHEW BARBER, FIREFLIES. Based on the novel ELEANOR AND ABEL by Annette Sanford, Fireflies premiered in 2017 at Long Wharf Theatre and will run at Pioneer Theatre Company April 1 - 16, 2022.
