Pioneer Theatre Company (PTC), together in a partnership administered by-and-through the Pioneer Theatre Guild, turns attention towards generating some Holiday spirit. Through the creation of the “Holiday Scene Shoppe,” an online bazaar, PTC will be crafting gifts, games, and festive facemasks, just in time for your seasonal shopping.

While the professional theatre is working to return to full productions in February (with perhaps a surprise sooner), it is focusing on keeping its full-time artists employed in the meantime with initiatives such as creating and selling artisan masks and the unique items in the theatre’s Second Act line of merchandise from repurposed costumes, sets, and props.

Pioneer Theatre Company begins its eighth season of the Play-by-Play New Play Reading Series with a reading of The Anatomy of Love a play in development by New York-based playwright Ted Malawer. The readings will take place at the Dumke Auditorium of the Utah Museum of Fine Arts on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. There will be a talkback directly after the 2:00 p.m. matinee.

Mary Stuart, the drama depicting the intertwined lives of England's Elizabeth I and Mary, Queen of Scots opens at PIONEER THEATRE COMPANY (PTC) on JANUARY 10, 2020 and runs through JANUARY 25, 2020. One of the first regional productions of the recent Broadway hit comedy, THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG at Pioneer Theatre Company is so wrong it's fabulously right.

Pioneer Theatre Company (PTC) is asking its patrons of The Play That Goes Wrong to bring canned and non-perishable food items to support Utah Food Bank. Continuing a 9-year history of giving, Pioneer Theatre Company is partnering up with Utah Food Bank this year to support those who are food insecure and need assistance this holiday season.
