St. Louis is at the center of one of the most hotly contested races at this year’s Tony Awards. The producing teams of Ragtime and CATS: The Jellicle Ball have ties to St. Louis, and both are nominated for Best Revival of a Musical. Stages St. Louis founder Jack Lane is a co-producer of Ragtime. Mike Bosner, a John Borroughs High School alum and former associate producer at The Muny is the lead producer on CATS: The Jellicle Ball.

Lincoln Center Theater’s Broadway revival of  Ragtime, directed by Kewsong Lee Artistic Director Lear deBessonet, announced today that it will launch a North American Tour in the fall of 2027. We have all of the details!

The National Tour of KIMBERLY AKIMBO will be making its final stop of the tour in New Haven, CT. The production will play May 14–17 at the Shubert Theatre before the curtain comes down on the national tour for good.

Mirvish Productions announced a new stage production of DIRTY DANCING: THE MUSICAL will play Toronto's CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre, directed by Tony nominee Lonny Price with choreography by Darrell Grand Moultrie.

Rehearsal photos have been released for the UK premiere tour of THE KARATE KID – THE MUSICAL, based on the Columbia Pictures film. The stage adaptation features a book by Robert Mark Kamen and music and lyrics by Drew Gasparini, bringing the story of Daniel LaRusso and Mr. Miyagi to the stage.

Ragtime will host a special post-show panel, titled “The Black Experience in RAGTIME” next week. Producer Lamar Richardson will moderate the conversation, featuring original RAGTIME stars Audra McDonald and Brian Stokes Mitchell.

RAGTIME, SiriusXM’s On Broadway, and Concord Theatricals Recordings will present a SiriusXM Front Row event and cast album signing at the Vivian Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center on Thursday, April 23.

American Repertory Theater (A. R.T.) has revealed the cast for the new musical Black Swan. A.R.T.’s world-premiere production. The company features Melanie Moore as Nina, the role which earned Natalie Portman an Oscar in the film.

A new block of tickets is now on sale for the new Broadway production of CATS: The Jellicle Ball. The production, which opens on Tuesday April 7 at the Broadhurst Theatre, is now on sale through September 6, 2026.
