CAMP BROADWAY, the award-winning New York-based theater arts enrichment company, will feature 50 young singers, ages 12-16, in Radio City's Sounds of Christmas on Friday, November 29 and Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 7:30 PM. The Camp Broadway Kids Ensemble will perform a 5-minute a cappella medley of songs about Santa during the pre-show of The Radio City Christmas Spectacular on stage at the world-famous Radio City Music Hall in New York City. This performance follows a day-long intensive of vocal rehearsals with Camp Broadway's creative team of Broadway professionals including Music Directors Christine Riley and Julianne Merrill, supported by Line Producer, Isaak Olson and Featured Player, Anna Raful.

Seattle Opera announced today that General Director Aidan Lang will leave the company to become General Director of Welsh National Opera. The third General Director of Seattle Opera, Lang departs at the close of the 2018/19 season following a five-year tenure. The 16th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its lineup of 57 thought-provoking and diverse short films in competition, including 36 world premieres. The selected shorts, 40% of which were directed by women, and include filmmakers from every corner of the globe, were curated from a record 4,385 submissions. They will be presented in 10 distinct competition programs, consisting of five narrative, four documentary, and, for the second year, one animated program. In addition, there is the Sports Shorts program as part of the 11th annual Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival, sponsored by Mohegan Sun. The Shorts program, sponsored by Nutella Originals, is a part of the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, which runs April 19-30.

For the past two years The Kilroys solicited nominations from over 300 theatre professionals, (primarily artistic directors and literary managers), for their favorite new plays by female-identified playwrights. In June they published The List -- the top 53 of these plays. In the same spirit of promoting opportunities for female and trans artists, Colt Coeur will produce four public readings of new plays by female-identified playwrights to coincide with the run of How to Live on Earth, by MJ Kaufman, who's play Sagitarrius Ponderosa was selected for The List this year.
