Broadway’s original “Tracy Turnblad,” Marissa Jaret Winokur will direct 5-Star Theatricals' upcoming production of the Tony Award winning musical, HAIRSPRAY, music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, book by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan and based on the John Waters film.

Peacock has announced that Academy Award-winner Joe Pesci (Goodfellas, The Irishman) will star in the new Pete Davidson comedy series BUPKIS as Davidson's grandfather, which is written, starring and executive produced by Davidson. Pesci will star alongside previously announced Emmy Award-winner Edie Falco, who will play Davidson’s mom.  

At the NBCUniversal Upfront today, Peacock announced that Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie, The Sopranos) will star in the new Pete Davidson comedy series BUPKIS as Davidson's mom, which is written, starring and executive produced by Davidson. Falco and Davidson appeared on stage together to share the news.  

Peacock announced the straight-to-series order of the new Pete Davidson series BUPKIS, written, starring and produced by Davidson. BUPKIS is a heightened, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson’s real life. The series will combine storytelling with absurd elements from the unfiltered and completely original worldview for which Pete is well known.

This summer, Judd Apatow directs Saturday Night Live breakout Pete Davidson in a bracing comedy about love, loss and laughter on Staten Island. THE KING OF STATEN ISLAND will premiere on demand June 12.

Fresh off of his two-month college comedy tour, Pete returns to New York City with newfound confidence in his comedic abilities. While growing more assured, he continues to struggle over what he really wants out of comedy and how to find a happy balance between his old, faith-based self and the new, more ambitious comic he's becoming.

The HBO comedy series CRASHING and HIGH MAINTENANCE will return with back-to-back season three premieres SUNDAY, JAN. 20, starting at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT).
