One of Australia's favourite performers of stage and screen, Hugh Sheridan, will star as Jonathan Larson in the much-loved rock musical.

Lin Manuel-Miranda has released video footage of himself working a 'La Vie Boheme' gesture into the 'Sunday' choreography in the TICK, TICK... BOOM! movie with Adam Pascal, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Wilson Jermaine Heredia.

Denee Benton, who starred as Cinderella in the off-Broadway run of Into The Woods at City Center earlier this year, will reprise her role in the Broadway run of the production next month.

Preorders are now available for the CD and vinyl versions for the cast recording of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of the New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s Into The Woods. Martin Short has been confirmed to play Lumière; David Alan Grier will play Cogsworth; Rizwan Manji joins the cast as Gaston’s sidekick, LeFou; and Jon Jon Briones will play Belle’s loving father, Maurice. Rising star Leo Abelo Perry will play Chip alongside Shania Twain as Mrs. Potts. They join H.E.R., Rita Moreno, Joshua Henry, and Josh Groban.

The Broadway cast of Into the Woods will perform on The TODAY Show this week. The broadcast will feature two performances, one during the show's 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. hours and the second during its 10:00 a.m. hours. The performances will mark the production's first televised performances.

Concord Theatricals / Craft Recordings will soon release the cast recording of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of the New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods on September 30 on streaming and digital platforms worldwide. Martin Short and Shania Twain may be joining ABC's upcoming Beauty and the Beast special. They are in talks for Short to play Lumière and for Twain to play Mrs. Potts. They would join previously announced H.E.R. in the role of Belle, David Alan Grier as Cogsworth, Joshua Henry as Gaston, Josh Groban as the Beast, and Rita Moreno as the Narrator.

David Alan Grier has been cast as Cogsworth in ABC's upcoming animated and live-action blended special, “Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration.” Grier will join the previously announced H.E.R. in the role of Belle, Joshua Henry as Gaston, Josh Groban as the Beast, and Rita Moreno as the Narrator.

The Australian mainstage debut of tick, tick…BOOM! the much-loved autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning composer of Rent, will take place at Melbourne's Comedy Theatre from 1 February 2023 before a limited season at QPAC's Playhouse in Brisbane.

Stage director Toff De Venecia is toying at a postmodern take on Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic 'Carousel,' which is widely known for its 'reinvention' of what the Broadway musical should be in 1945, along with its beloved songs 'You’ll Never Walk Alone,' 'If I Loved You,' and 'June is Bustin’ Out All Over.'

The special presentation includes live musical performances and features brand-new sets and costumes inspired by the classic story. Songs from the original animated classic will be performed in front of a live audience at Disney Studios, and we've got the scoop.
