Casting has been announced and tickets are on sale for Starring Buffalo's TITANIC, May 31 - June 1 at Shea's 710 Theatre in downtown Buffalo. Penfold Theatre Company (Penfold) announces the return of Your Old Fashioned Die Hard Radiocast for the 2023 holiday season. Based on the screenplay by Jeb Stuart and Steven E. de Souza, Your Old Fashioned Die Hard Radiocast is written by Associate Artistic Director Nathan Jerkins and will play two performances – one night – on December 22 at the historic Driskill Hotel, 604 Brazos St in Austin.

Howard Benson and Neil Sanderson, co-founders of Judge and Jury Records, announced the release of “Army Of The Damned” the new single from singer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and YouTuber Jonathan Young. Matthew K. Heafy (frontman, guitarist, lead vocalist of popular metal band Trivium) joins Young on the single.

The glorious harmonizing of spirituals and exuberant, soulful dancing will raise the roof at Portland Center Stage this spring when Tarell Alvin McCraney's Choir Boy soars onto the U.S. Bank Main Stage. Choir Boy begins preview performances on April 15, opens on April 21, and runs through May 14.

What did our critic think of PRETTY WOMAN at The Orpheum Theatre Memphis? If you are familiar with the beloved 1990 film Pretty Woman, you are familiar with this line. The opening number of the musical 'Welcome to Hollywood' captivates the audience with a catchy line and an exhilirating dance number. Fans of the film won't be disappointed, holding their breath for iconic lines and even costumes from the film. However, the late great Stephen Sondheim once spoke about the concept of 'why musicals', saying they are 'perfectly OK, but why write them? They're not necessary.

Pretty Woman The Musical – the latest offering in the 2022-23 Broadway at TPAC Series – is one of those shows that almost defies explanation and proves even more difficult to review. (Case in point: I’ve rewritten that sentence 758 times in the past 22 hours and it’s still not “singing,” is it?) Pretty Woman The Musical is a pleasant enough diversion, entertaining even, but there is little in the show’s first act to convince most people that the 1990 rom com, which starred Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, needed to be transformed into a glitzy and glittering Broadway musical (a term we use loosely in this case), with Olivia Valli and Adam Pascal in the leading roles.
