Olivier Award-winner and Tony Award-nominee Anthony Boyle (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) will join the cast of Long Day's Journey into Night, playing the role of Edmund Tyrone. He will be replacing Alex Lawther who has reluctantly withdrawn from the production due to a scheduling conflict. 

The completely sold-out Off-Broadway revival of John Patrick Shanley’s Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, starring Aubrey Plaza – in her stage debut – and Christopher Abbott, has extended by popular demand. Danny and the Deep Blue Sea must end on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

Sarasota Opera has announced the lineup for the 2023 Summer Classic Movies at the Opera House. The Classic Movies at the Opera House series featuring many beloved movies will open on Friday, May 12th at 7:30 pm with 2001: A Space Odyssey. Throughout the summer and into the fall, featured movies will include films ranging from the 1930's to the 1990's. Tickets will be $12 and will go on sale starting on Wednesday, May 3. It is set to follow the making of a Broadway show.

After scoring a hit last season with the Disney union strike drama Burbank (called 'smart and entertaining' by Laura Collins Hughes of The New York Times), Thirdwing, will present the World Premiere of TELEVISION by Cameron Darwin Bossert beginning previews April 6 at the wild project. Opening night is set for Wednesday, April 12.
