Wilton's Music Hall announced an Autumn season for August-December 2022, with an impressive array of world-class theatre, music, comedy and opera in collaboration with a variety of distinguished production companies and talent.

After the company's smash hit success at Opera Holland Park with 'The Pirates of Penzance', Charles Court Opera, the award-winning “masters of Gilbert & Sullivan”, will present their side-splitting, OFFIE-nominated, railway murder mystery spoof, which rips through ballads, songs and snatches from every single G&S opera with a cake soaked butter knife!

Directed by John Savournin, musically directed by David Eaton (the team behind the smash hit 'The Pirates of Penzance 'at Opera Holland Park) and designed by Simon Bejer (winner of Best Opera at the Offies), audiences can expect first class performances from a terrific young cast, led by Catriona Hewitson in the title role (recently starring in Scottish Opera's 'The Gondoliers'), and a host of beloved CCO regulars, including Matthew Kellett and Catrine Kirkman.

In ‘Beowulf: An Epic Panto’, a co-production with the King’s Head Theatre, join Beowulf, Grendel, Grendel’s mother and a maelstrom of other fantastical characters, for this completely unmissable show, packed with mammoth musical numbers, and led by a colossally talented cast including many CCO favourites.

Charles Court Opera's legendary boutique panto returns to the King's Head Theatre, as the famous early medieval epic tale of Beowulf gets a wickedly entertaining CCO makeover in 'Beowulf: An Epic Panto' - a fiery adventure like no other.

Not for the purists but beautiful to behold, this Pinafore updates the humour while respecting the music.

Opera Holland Park offers a variety of dishes to hungry audiences throughout the season. After the meatier affair of La Traviata and concept cuisine The Cunning Little Vixen, we move on to the chocolate soufflé of The Pirates of Penzance.

‘Express G&S’  will now play the newly configured, socially distanced Pleasance Theatre, London N1, from Wednesday 23 June  - Friday 2 July, 2021.
