Aaron Poser’s Life Sucks. will have its Los Angeles premiere, September 30,2023 at The Broadwater Main Stage (with previews beginning September 24th). Barry Heins directs this reimagining of Anton Chekhov's classic play, Uncle Vanya with the cast of: John Ross Bowie, Anne Gee Byrd, Olivia Castanho, Erin Pineda, Lily Rains, Marc Valera and Steve Vinovich. John found time out of his not sucky life to answer a few of my queries.

Hudson Classical Theater Company continues its 19th season with a new adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma.  Unlike their previous Jane Austen adaptations, this one takes place in the 1950’s in Newport, Rhode Island.

Play-PerView announced today that actress, writer and comedienne Jamie Denbo (“Ronna & Beverly”) has joined the upcoming LIVE reading of “Brushstroke,” a new comedy by John Ross Bowie (Four Chords and a Gun) and directed by Casey Stangl. Ms. Denbo replaces the previously announced Brian Huskey and will share the stage with Malcolm Barrett ('Timeless'), John Ross Bowie ('The Big Bang Theory'), Ana Ortiz ('Ugly Betty'), and James Urbaniak ('The Venture Brothers').

Play-PerView is heading to the west coast for its next two Live and Live-Streamed Theatrical Events. On Monday December 20, Play-PerView will present a LIVE reading of _“Brushstroke,” a new comedy by John Ross Bowie (Four Chords and a Gun_) and directed by Casey Stangl.

Hudson Classical Theater Company (formerly known as Hudson Warehouse) just finished their highly successful July production of “Love’s Labour’s Lost,” which kicked off their 18th season.  Now that New York City is open to live theater, HCTC will bring back the classics to their summer stage in Riverside Park.

On Saturday, June 26th at 7:30pm EST (on demand through June 30), Play-PerView will stream a LIVE performance of Four Chords and A Gun by John Ross Bowie (“The Big Bang Theory,” “Speechless”).

These eight new episodes complete the sixteen-episode first season. GENERA+ION is a dark yet playful half-hour series following a diverse group of high school students whose exploration of modern sexuality (devices and all) tests deeply entrenched beliefs about life, love and the nature of family in their conservative community.

On Saturday, May 22nd at 7:00pm EST, Play-PerView will live stream AYA or Dear Lover by Fernanda Coppel (King Liz, “How To Get Away With Murder”).  Directed by Estefania Fadul, this production will feature Raul Castillo (“Looking,” “Atypical”), Tina Huang (“Rizzoli & Isles,” “Arrow”), and Roxana Ortega (“The Casagrandes,” “American Vandal”). 

Winslet stars as Mare Sheehan, a small-town Pennsylvania detective who investigates a local murder as life crumbles around her.
