54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, presents Broadway SIGNs! Halloween Spooktacular with headliner Russell Harvard (To Kill A Mockingbird, Spring Awakening Deaf West revival) and an ensemble cast of rockers, actors and pop artists. Expect a Twilight Zone-inspired night of musical storytelling and Halloween classics in American Sign Language (ASL).

In his debut show at 54 Below, actor Russell Harvard combines American Sign Language, musical storytelling, and a variety of musical genres to tell his own personal tale.

BroadwayCon, the premiere fan convention for all things Broadway, today announced the programming lineup, featuring performances and appearances from some of Broadway's biggest shows and influential names in theater. 

Due to a limited number of Covid cases within the company, The Orchard, conceived, adapted, and directed by Ukrainian born theater director Igor Golyak, will begin previews on June 7, instead of the previously scheduled May 31. Opening night remains unchanged, and is still scheduled for June 16 for a limited run through July 3.

The Orchard is a hybrid piece of theater and can be seen in two formats: Live & In-Person at the Baryshnikov Arts Center and The Virtual Experience – Online. The limited engagement of The Orchard begins previews on May 31 with opening night set for June 16 and will run through July 3.

Art House Productions, Jersey City’s home for the performing and visual arts for the past 20 years, has announced the appointment of six new members to its Board of Trustees, Margo Chaly, Bree Falato, Sunil K. Garg, Ibn Sharif Shakoor, and Lewis Spears. The new board members will provide additional leadership as Art House Productions moves into its permanent home at The Hendrix (180 Morgan St) in Jersey City, NJ in Fall 2022. Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced Mike Lew as the recipient of the 2022 L. Arnold Weissberger New Play Award for his play tiny father. Lew will receive the $10,000 award and the accompanying $10,000 Jay Harris Commission to write a new play.
