Every Shade of Blue was produced by GRAMMY-award winning songwriter, producer and engineer Jesse Shatkin (Sia, Pink, The Shins, Tegan and Sara) and Andrew Sarlo (Big Thief, Wet), and “Paradigm”, produced by John Hill and Sammy Witte (Florence + The Machine, Portugal The Man, Cage The Elephant).

“2am” is the second track to preview the album following “Wake Me Up”. “2am” was produced by John Hill (Portugal The Man, Florence + The Machine, Cage The Elephant ) and Dan Carey (Tame Impala, Fontaines D.C.), and recorded during sessions at Real World Studios, Bath and Carey’s studio in south London. Over the next five weeks alone, between now and Labor Day weekend, The Art House and Town Hall in Provincetown will host a “who’s who” constellation of Broadway award-winners and music & comedy all-stars with no less than sixteen individual shows opening across the two venues’ three stages.

Chicano Batman will return to the stage this fall with a 22-date tour across the U.S., including dates at New York’s Webster Hall and two hometown concerts at LA’s Shrine Expo Hall. 

The Art House 2021 season will kick-off in Provincetown. As if today’s tour announce wasn’t enough, the band has answered the calls of their fans with the release of Ulu Selects Vol. #1 (Live), out today. The four-track EP is the first of many eclectic EPs to come and features stripped down performances of fan-favorite songs.

Today in 1992, Crazy for You opened at the Shubert Theatre, where it ran for 1622 performances. Crazy for You is a musical with a book by Ken Ludwig, lyrics by Ira Gershwin, and music by George Gershwin. Billed as 'The New Gershwin Musical Comedy', it is largely based on the songwriting team's 1930 musical, Girl Crazy, but interpolates songs from several other productions as well. Crazy for You won the 1992 Tony Award for Best Musical. The Broadway production was directed by Mike Ockrent and choreographed by Susan Stroman.The cast included Jodi Benson as Polly, Harry Groener as Bobby Child, Bruce Adler as Bela Zangler, John Hillner as Lank Hawkins, Michele Pawk as Irene Roth, Jane Connell as Mother, and Beth Leavel as Tess.

Grammy Award-winning artist Sturgill Simpson today released the prophetic video for Make Art Not Friends from his Netflix anime film SOUND & FURY that accompanied his critically acclaimed album of the same name last year.
